  1. While driving past the Weigel's near Gallaher View and Middlebrook, I was able to get a 4G signal, later on tonight I was not able to acquire that signal again. I did notice that I could not do a speed test, hopefully the tower near there was in a test mode.
  2. Saw an Ericcson truck at the tower on Middlebrook near Gallaher View yesterday.
  3. I got these speeds off the tower near Bakertown, I don't know if this is close to you or not.
  4. Check out sensorly Check out sensorly, there has been a ton a data mapped.
  5. I saw the security line attached to the tower, I wonder who they were working for then. From looking at the completion map, work is still being down in the Knoxville area, there is a new tower up and running on Pellissippi and Oak Ridge Highway. I live closer to that tower on Middlebrook and the signal cuts out right as I go down the hill and the other tower near Pellissippi and I40 cuts out 2 minutes from me.
  6. Looks like the tower on Middlebrook near Gallaher View has some guys, a truck and a trailer onsite.
  7. I see 3 towers are up on 40 west of the 40/75 split, and one on middlebrook, time to do some mapping once they come online.
  8. Just noticed 1, maybe 2 guys working on the tower near Bearden High School, that may be the reason we are seeing 4G popping up on our phones. I almost didn't see them if not for the neon yellow shirts.
  9. I noticed yesterday that I was able to pick up 4G around the exit for the mall, but as soon as I got close to Target it went back to 3G. Same as today when I was near the Pilot on Walker Springs, maybe the downtilt was adjusted for that tower(Campbell Station). Or maybe my phone is learning and improving (doubtful).
  10. Those guys must work at night, I never seem to catch them during the day. Also could it have been the tower near Campbell Station?
  11. Is there a second tower along I40 that is broadcasting LTE, since it is picking up near the mall?
  12. The only problem is that I have a 64gb card and I have already used up 75% of it, I like the idea of Google Backups and Dropbox, but my spotty 3G would not make them a viable candidate at this time.
  13. I'm about ready to make the switch, was in the tri-cities today and it is getting frustrating having to toggle airplane mode to make my phone connect. I just don't know if I can live without my sd card.
  14. I see that 4G is showing up on I40 all the way to the mall, too bad my phone can't make a connection. Mapped out some more in White Pine, and some spotty coverage around the Sevierville exit.
  15. Mapped out some 4G around LaFollette and on I75. Had to restart my phone before it would pick up any 4G. For some reason the LTE app nor toggling airplane mode would work.
