  1. I agree. Samsung followed in some ways apple this long why not just make a straight unlocked device with all us bands. I called them last week about 2 times about it but they keep saying it was unlocked when it's really not. I gave up cause I don't have the strength nor energy to go back and forth with them. I went though the same thing with my 6 plus and them saying its unlocked but apple is saying its not. I gave my s6 to my brother cause he likes it. I did tell myself that I refuse to deal with sprint when it comes to unlocking and instead I'll just buy my iPhone's unlocked from apple. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Yup. When I put in the Sprint sim it went though the profile and prl updates. A few hours later I put back in my T-Mobile sim and got the invalid sim message which I didn't get before. I even went back into settings and went to the uicc unlock and it said that this device is locked to use sprint SIM card only or whatever that message said. But I had got my device unlocked a week after the phone was released so I don't know if that had to do with anything. I called in originally and I got my msl code and they rep said the unlock would fully process in 15 to 20 mins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. At first I switched it to GSM/UMTS but some odd reason the phone wouldn't work at all so I put it back at automatic. You're lucky to be able to swap sims. After my device locked back up I didn't even bother to call back sprint it felt energy draining lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Your welcome. Unlocking is not cut and dry with Sprint but it is what it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. When I had my s6 unlocked I got that message. I popped in a T-Mobile sim and it showed only the spinning 3G logo but I had to make a call and then hang up for the lte Logo to appear. It was missing features like the volte and hd calls that T-Mobile has but overall it worked. The only problem I had was when I took out the T-Mobile sim and put back in the sprint sim. When I did that the phone locked back up and wouldn't take any other sim but sprints. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I wish apple give its users the option theme wise to switch between the newer iOS look and the older iOS look. I think that'll be dope. Apart of me misses the look of iOS 6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Right which makes them popular and cool to be with. T-Mobile is in their season right now. Verizon, AT&T and Sprint all had theirs at one point but ended once something better came along. The same can be said for T-Mobile. They will stay this way until the next cool thing appears. I just read the rest of your post you updated. LMAO!!! T-Mobile has a lot of die hard cult like people but I wonder how many would stay if one day (even though it will never happen) AT&T or Verizon felt giving and gave new customers a 60 day window to sign up with them get comparable data plans as T-Mobile that will slow you down to 1-2mbps after you hit your limit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I have no problem with T-Mobile. I think they are doing a great job but they are just popular and "in" right now until the next "in" thing comes around. Everything has a season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If this goes though then T-Mobile is going have to put up or shut up they also could just buy what they need in key states. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Oh my mistake then. Even still he is making changes to his model as the network improves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. lol wow he really said that? I updated my last post but what he fails to see is when John took over it was free for all with data use and and abuse it. But as their network started to greatly improve he started making changes with the throttling or whatever you want to call it and then the 2 year unlimited data guarantee. But that goes for all these cellular companies. As things improve your models change to maintain a good quality network. Prime example look at Verizon and AT&T good networks that don't offer unlimited and yet people will still pay for their services because of the quality. I just fear the day when John pulls unlimited. People will have a fit and call him a bunch of liars and every name in the book. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I agree but a lot of T-Mobile fans think John is their friend. As network quality changes in a good way so does the CEO and their overall plan with how maintaining it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Who knows when sprint will take it away 5 or 10 years from now. T-Mobile already said they will have a two year guarantee on unlimited data but didn't say when those two years start. Either way it goes, the writing was on the wall since everything is going strictly lte. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I agree. They could have did away with that. But really based on how the phone looks it seems like your obligated to use that Iron man wallpaper to make the phone look nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Sorry I left out the when the next iPhone gets released. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have both a iPhone 6 plus and a Galaxy S6 both paid off. When it comes to my iPhone, I've just given up trying to unlock it. They keep saying it is but apple says it's not. But when my S6 they were able to unlock it with no problem and it worked when I threw in a T-mobile sim but when I put back in my sprint sim a day later the phone locked itself back up. I didn't even bother to call about it. Too many hoops to jump though especially with their new unlocking policy. Anywho, I told myself I just will not buy another iPhone through sprint anymore. I'll just wait until apple starts selling the fully unlocked edition for all carriers that way I don't have to hassle with Sprint on unlocking it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. What is great battery life to you? To him that's great. Honestly battery life is subjective based on the individuals needs. For me, as long as my s6 lasts from the time I wake up until bedtime (which it does) I am satisfied.
  18. Or some kind of hey check out our service program they can come up with. So how would they know if things have changed. I agree 100% Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I agree and sadly people only base things off their past experiences. WiMAX wasn't everywhere. I had the evo 4g and I only had 4g when I was home from school but up on campus and in my dorm I had nothing but 3G. The service sucked but I couldn't complain cause my parents was paying my phone bill. Call and text was fine it was just the data which was a hit or miss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Sprint was that boyfriend or girlfriend that was "the one" and sprint cheated on them and now they can't move on and love again. They still have scars. For laughs only Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I use about 35GB a month. I mainly stream music at the highest setting and I have daily volgs on YouTube I watch. I also update my apps too. My sprint service works so good that I really forget to use wifi when I'm at home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Gotcha so this its pretty much a rush job outside of the city? I need to ask one of my friends who does have T-Mobile how the data is outside of the city. I know for Columbus OH there is lte on the highways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Why only decent? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I'm sure everyone remembers the free night and weekend minutes we had years ago. This morning I was thinking what if a carrier took that same idea but instead made for it data. I think that if a carrier was able to implement this that it would be big and a game changer. What do you guys think?
