  1. Sprint could keep the PCS spectrum and divest the AWS, or the other way around. And I don't think they would be blocked from future auctions if they abide by the rules.
  2. Sprint should just buy them out. Sent from Joshs Evo Shift using Forum Runner
  3. Actually, i heard rumblings about 4 or 5 years ago about T-Mobile. It just took until last year to put a deal together. Sent from Joshs Evo Shift using Forum Runner
  4. It's ok. Sometimes old news can be relevant when we least expect it.
  5. If it ever came to a shareholder vote to sell out to China, I would vote a resounding NO! And yes, I do hold a few shares of Clearwire.
  6. I would be happy to see US Carrier #3 carry the iPad as well. I was quite surprised that it wasn't announced at the big iPad event this year. Hopefully Sprint will carry it by fall when the LTE iPhone comes to town.
  7. They really are working toward that goal? That is even better news than the ants that invaded the kitchen tonight because of the rain, rain, and more rain.
  8. Discovery channel Sent from Joshs Evo Shift using Forum Runner You were in cahoots with someone to do that! FRAUD! lol jkjk The first thousand marker i didn't get.
  9. With Stipulations from Homeland Security to boot.
  10. Really slow Sent from Joshs Evo Shift using Forum Runner
  11. It could be, but I think it's more that Clearwire is more interested than Sprint, and Sprint will just reap the benefits of such a deal.
  12. GSM chips are cheap enough to do so, but CDMA carriers typically reserve only a few devices every few years for international roaming capabilities. As for LTE roaming, it will probably be quite a few years before chipsets are capable of supporting multiple LTE frequencies and still maintain decent battery life. If you like to travel halfway across the world a lot, then the first round of Sprint LTE devices aren't for you.
  13. OK, maybe not spectrum, but combining the 2 footprints in the areas that iDEN has service but Sprint doesn't. And maybe that is just too costly to setup for right now.
  14. Some might support GSM/EDGE/W-CDMA/HSPA roaming. As for LTE roaming, only if the country adopts LTE on 1900 PCS-G will that happen. Otherwise, I don't see too many international LTE devices for a while.
  15. The part I find sad is that they have the spectrum to utilize, but they aren't going to use it. Maybe some day in the future they will re use it.
  16. My voice quality wasn't too bad with at&t actually. It was the weak 3g signal in my house that caused my phone to drop constantly to EDGE and the increasing number of dropped calls that was occurring.
  17. Unless NV significantly improves the signal quality in Pahrump, then I won't be getting good voice quality at home.
  18. The hard part of iTunes is sorting videos by video, music video, and tv show. I personally am annoyed by it, but I'm used to it after so many years.
