Since it is qChat based, it should basically reach almost all of Sprint's current line-up of Android devices, and even possibly the iPhone down the road. However, I thought the Android app was only software based, not hardware based.
Over at Android Central one of the members posted a conversation with a Sprint Rep. Hopefully it's a legit conversation. They gave this individual a date of November 20th.

According to new rumors on the Android Central forums, it's very likely possible the Viper ICS update could begin to be pushed to user devices starting tomorrow. I will keep everyone posted, and even try to write up a review once it hits.
