Duffman
Sprint maintains two redundant data centers though I cannot remember where they were. I suspect the DNS servers would be there. Why?
4GHoward
Can using other DNS Servers like OpenDNS show significant changes to service?
Duffman
Can using other DNS Servers like OpenDNS show significant changes to service? You bet. I prefer Google's DNS servers of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I doubt where Sprint's servers are would make much of a difference but I would bet that they would be slower and more problematic then Google's. There was a big East Coast outage where a specific model of card could not get to any webpage unless you used its IP address. Sprint took a couple of weeks to find and fix that so I just changed people to Google.
