  1. HTC 10 User Thread

Did disabling the "My Sprint" app help?
  2. HTC 10 User Thread

It looks like the "My Sprint" app is causing the issue with the fingerprint scanner. I turned off all sprint related apps and had no problems this weekend. I randomly turned on different sprint apps and I believe that "My Sprint" is the culprit.
  3. HTC 10 User Thread

I wonder if it could be a stock app. If someone could reset their phone to default and not update any apps, that might help narrow down the rouge app.
  4. HTC 10 User Thread

Pretty much that was it, so nothing. I just recently cleared the system cache and did a reset. Testing now.
  5. HTC 10 User Thread

I did an online chat with them. We placed the phone into safe mode. Scanner worked the entire time it was in that mode. Placed it back into regular mode and the scanner started acting weird again. Guessing there is a stock app that is causing problems, as non of the apps I downloaded were accessible.
  6. HTC 10 User Thread

Correction. The data reset did not help my problem. Also pressing the power button and then pressing the scanner is not working for me either. I will see if I can go back to the previous version. Might not be possible since the update just came out. Going back to android messages. What I am noticing is that if I take a picture and the size is around 2.7mb for example, when sending it through android messages, it compresses it down to 95kb, using the workaround steps. Are you seeing the same results?
  7. HTC 10 User Thread

I had to perform a data reset on my phone to get the scanner working properly. Side note, anyone have issues with android messages when sending a picture to a non sprint phone. My pictures get so compressed that I had to revert back to the htc message app.
  8. HTC U11

Can anyone verify if wifi calling is available, also how is RCS working with this phone? When I send a MMS to a non Sprint phone, the app(Android messages) compresses the picture so bad you almost can't view the picture.
  9. HTC U Ultra

Nice, I will see if I can join the Elevate group and jump on that early shipping bandwagon.
  10. HTC U Ultra

How quickly will you receive the phone?
  11. HTC U Ultra

Hearing rumors that Uh Oh protection will not be available due to the phone having a IP67 rating. I guess that glass back is drop proof.
  12. HTC U Ultra

Got an email stating that Sprint is offering 150 off, guess I can do that and sell the Amazon Echo Dots to get the price close to what HTC.com is offering with the HTC 10 buy back, if that's possible. I am not too fond of the blue, probably will go with black.
  13. HTC U Ultra

This information leads me to think the unlock version will work with Sprint 4G, but I am not too sure about 3G: HTC U11 Unlocked Band Support4G LTE (up to 600Mbps download speed/with 2CA, 3CA Carrier Aggregation and 256 QAM, service dependent): FDD: Bands B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B20/B25/B26/B28/B66 TDD: Bands B41 with 2CA, 3CA, 4CA Carrier Aggregation 3G UMTS: 900/850/AWS/1900/2100 (B8/B5/B4/B2/B1 with 900/850/AWS/1900/2100 diversity), HSDPA 42, HSUPA 5.76 2G/2.5G - GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
  14. HTC U Ultra

Well one can hope. I wonder if we will have wifi calling with this phone.
  15. HTC U Ultra

and what about the Uh Oh protection credit?
