I live in freedom and my signal is terrible. I lose 3G continuously my husband returned his iPhone 5 before his 30 days was up. Does Seymour have 3G? I was there in Seymour last Thursday and no 4g
I'm not entirely convinced its the network. I have a Galaxy S3 and sn iPhone 5 on 2 seperate Sprint lines. My iPhone drops data at any hint of a wind gust. My s3 will hold it fine.
I've had 2 iPhone 5's and they both do this. My 4S never did.

Does anyone out there have any news for Appleton / Fox valley? We get little to no data, a lot of dropped calls and pushed to the extended network. I'm trying to hold out but after the storms the other day and really needing data I think for safety as well as fun reasons I might pay the ETL and go with Verizon. If you reply thanks
I'm getting LTE by Winneconne, and service by 76 and Jackson is moving faster.
I haven't had any dropped calls or data problems around Appleton though, aside from some minor slowdowns.
That storm did some damage, there may be towers down by you.

I was up there a couple times last week and hit LTE.

I've been popping in and out of LTE in Rapids for the last couple weeks, especially out on the west side by the industrial park.

That's what I saw as well. It continues all the way passed Point and just about to Appleton.

Might be testing.
Anyone else by Point/Marshfield having major connection issues today?
Both my S3 and iPhone 5 are having trouble loading maps, and streaming audio is impossible. Never had problems before.
Tried YouTube for fun, keeps saying connection error.

It was solid on 10 testerday, but on the north end it was still back and forth.

I'm at Carquest DC in north Marshfield and my phone was bouncing in and out of LTE.
-
About 8-10mbps.
-
On 10, I'm guessing its the tower just off the highway .

Marshfield is LTE hot!

Just noticed I had a solid 5 bars of LTE in Omro. I'm on my iPhone, so no Sensorly update.

Marathon to Edgar should be mapped. Not sure where it switched back. I turned it in pulling out of Marathon and turned it off by Colby.
There is a site on hwy 10 by Marshfield I've seen pop LTE off and on, and a couple more by Point. I even saw my phone bounce LTE shortly by Wisconsin Rapids.

Wish Wausau had at least one tower with 4g

First site in the Wausau area had LTE accepted yesterday. It's between Edgar and Marathon City, along the freeway.

I should be going to Edgar today, I'll load up Sensorly and tag it if I do.

Sadly, it's our only option. Would be nice to see some competition here.

What really jerks my chain with AT&T is they say use wifi, then cap home DSL at 150gb, with no real way to check usage. Then, charge overages.
Talk about a racket!
They should have a very easy to monitor usage system if they are going to charge you for any overage IMO.
They don't. It even says in the fine print on their tracker it could be 5-7 days before the tracker catches up with usage. It pretty much guarantees overages.

If I was forced to shop for a carrier and consider limits , how much do I need.
I use a little email and sometimes a utube video but lots of audio streaming.
How do I calculate how much data I will use on LTE for I-Heart radio 8 hours per day , 5 days a week?
thanks
Oh, I'm getting a driving job so I can't use my past usage as a guide.
That's what I do, but add GPS, and substitute Pandora. I'm running 10gb per month on that line.
I'm an LTL truck driver.

Scratch that, test result shows LTE. It's slow, but it switched back to 3G half way through the test.
-
Sitting at Kwik Trip on Hwy 13 in Rapids, my phone flipped to 4g and back to 3G a few times. Tried to grab a Speedtest, but no luck.
I need to reload Sensorly.

Another tower in Point has been kicking LTE signal out off and on the last few days. They sure aren't wasting time!

13mbps down in Tomah, on a holiday weekend! Wow, so glad I left AT&T!

This is Japan we're talking about, not North Korea. I thought we were really tight with Japan over the last 50 years?
I'd be far more worried about the UK, just due to the seeming desire they have to want to watch "the colonies" fail.
They didn't seem concerned about Vodafone and Verizon. And doesn't Level 3 have significant backing out of European investors?

So far it's only one tower, which is more in town. It doesn't hit i39 yet.

Be fair, that whole area has a cell blocking spell on it.
I used to run that area daily for work and never had a phone work right from any carrier. Something to do with not allowing towers in most areas, and lack of backhaul availability.
