Got my magic box today. I have tried many locations but it will not complete setup. It usually detects the network but then says something to the effect of failed to complete setup at this location. I have placed it outside even where my phone a S7 reports band 41 signal at -99 RSRP and still no luck. Would it help if i take the magic box closer to the tower and try again so it can at least update firmware? Oh and this market does have the high/low spectrum split needed for b41 magic box operations.

i m getting my pixel 2 xl later tomorrow...well it has the snap dragon 835 so depending on the carrier support it can do 4 carrier aggregation
Google states the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are both only LTE CAT 15 so only 3 carrier aggregation.

Still no calling plus for GS7 with new BQK1 update from this morning.

So? If the could raise prices and increase profits (your claim) they would do it now. Why wait? That doesnt make sense.
You are missing the point. Netflix will just pass along the added cost to the end user. This isn't about added profit, its about added cost to provide product to end user.

Why dont they raise prices now then? If They arent maximizing profits now?
Because they are not yet paying the extra price for bandwidth that would cost them more without net neutrality.

It is going to be fine if Netflix makes a little less money.
Netflix isn't going to make a little less money they will just charge the consumer more for what they are already getting..

I have the latest update BQJ3 and no VOLTE. Calling plus is mentioned in the wifi calling setup but just as the last few updates there still is no option to turn on calling Plus. Same with my wifes S7ESomeone told me it was on the S7 edge. So why wouldn't it be on the S7.

Now if we could just get calling plus in the Galaxy S7...iPhone catches up to Android again.... [emoji14]
It does look like they have rolled out some version of Calling Plus to iPhones now.

Its funny i just left Disneyland and the Sprint network in that area is horrible. During any event like world of color or fireworks it is completely unusable. Verizon was no better though. Couldn't even start a speed test on Verizon. My stay here in Orange county has made me appreciate how well Sprint performs in my home network of Portland. A few strategically placed mini macros would greatly improve the Sprint user experience at Disney.
I hope so. The tower spacing in SoCal s laughable at best. Everytime I’m at Disneyland I debate if I should even bring my phone in with me as it’s virtually unusable while every carrier has strong and usable signal.

Data is back up now. That took longer than expected..

I wonder if the planned network update went bad... Data is down nationwide now and has been for an hour and a half....

Got the email from Sprint informing me that I will not be getting a magic box. I do live near the edge of B41 but i do still get B41 in the house. And my neighbors are Sprint customers.. I figured I would be an excellent candidate. Oh well.

Awesome to hear, that's why I never went to the S7 or S7 Edge it just wasn't worth it, both performance and feature wise my Note 5 stays right with the 7 series. But the 8 I would hope is a lot better, maybe I'll go check it out soon I am getting that itch, and plus I never use the spen anyway lol. How are you liking the battery life of the +? better than the S7 Edge?
Edit - Well the temptation got to me, just put in my order for the S8+, it will be here tomorrow. Good deal online no activation fee so it was $82.24 out the door, also ordered a case on Amazon for $15 which will be here tomorrow as well. Not a bad $100 spent.
$82 out the door from Sprint? Lease? Legacy plan upgrade?

I too received the same email. I live in a rural area on the edge of B41 so should be interesting to see if they decide that I am eligible.

Signed up on the day after the earnings call and no call from Sprint yet. Plenty of band 41 in my area.

I've got a big box that says it's an ONT on the side of my house with battery backup and it's plugged in, so I assume it's FTTH - copper wouldn't need all that, no?
ONT= Optical Network Terminal so yes FTTH

Is Portland, San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Denver ready for 10x10/15x15? (10+5)?
Sprint and ATT sure is ready to make that happen! =)

Not too shabby at all....
Did anyone else notice that is says LG on the bottom of this phone? I thought they used Motorola smart phones for the demonstration.

If the $90 promo is still only till March 2018 then this probably wont be enough to keep legacy subs that are already on the fence.

Looks like whatever CA issue got resolved. I'm regularly getting speeds higher than expected on CAx2 as I've tested periodically over the last couple of days. I'll go out of my way to try a high signal area at off peak hours to confirm that it is in fact 3xCA kicking in.

I can confirm 3xCA in my market(Samsung) I've had a speed test of 175mbps down.

Anyone on recent 6.0.1 PK1 update notice slower download speeds? It appears to still be only 2xCA but downlink speeds seem much slower than last update even with good RSRP.
