[Teaser] The 9th Galaxy Arrives Early - The Galaxy S9
in The Wall

I'm assuming if there's CA with B41+B25 or B41+B26 that B25 or B26 can be used for uploads?

"What's the frequency, Kenneth?" Sprint and AT&T tango to trade PCS frequencies.

Nice. Hopefully this is just the start and we'll see inter-market PCS exchanges between the two companies. It'd be nice if Sprint trades for more PCS frequencies in markets that could use it (such as Houston) by giving up excess capacity else where.

[UPDATED] Teaser: Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. One of "US." One variant each for all of the US?

Samsung should sell an unlocked version that works on all carriers much like the Nexus phones and Moto X Pure Edition.

Sprint's PCS spectrum position in Memphis goes from nothin' but a hound dog to Graceland

What other top markets only have 10mhz of PCS spectrum? I know Houston is in that situation but hopefully we'll be blanketed in b41.
*edit - correction as mentioned by WiWavelength: 20mhz PCS spectrum

And the Band 41 marches on...in the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for Sprint

Wow that b41 performance seems significantly better than pretty much every other phone currently out there. I wasn't really looking to purchase the new iPhone because I think it's a lateral move from the LG G3 (barring Android vs ios debates) but if the b41 performance is significantly better then that could sway me. Do these FCC numbers generally translate to real world usage?

Will LTE service on Rural Roaming Preferred Program partner networks be native coverage for Sprint customers?
in The Wall
A group blog by The Wall Editors in General
When can we expect build outs to begin? Or, rather that's an impossible question to answer because it's up to each individual rural carrier to deploy, but do we know when they are allowed to start deploying using Sprint Spectrum? (on either b25 or b26)

Nice write up AJ. I can disagree with you in some other threads, but still find your insight valuable and a huge reason I continue to visit this site.

Can toggling airplane mode actually improve your 3G data speeds?

With Sprint planning to implement DO Advanced, will this in theory keep a a user on the best available tower/carrier?

S4GRU Compares our LTE Coverage Map with Sprint's in St. Joseph, Missouri

Thanks for the info Robert. As far as a usable LTE signal, I'd say -105dbm to -110dbm is about the cut off point so far in my usage. I'm in a fringe 4g area (my house, outside) and I've been able to get speed tests up to 11mb/s. I've also seen 600kbp/s at the same spot on different days, and sometimes it'll error out and switch back to 3g. LTE signal ranges from -106dbm to -114dbm when I'm doing my speedtests. (signal measured in RSRP)

Do we know if Sprint's existing equipment (8T8R, mini macros, etc) can support B25+B41 or B26+B41 with a software upgrade? Or will this require new equipment?
