This tower needed it. It didn't even seem like it was on before.Pretty nice upgrade to the tower on Blackfoot and Watt. Here's before:

I've posted pictures of this tower September 2013, it had new equipment up. Sponsor thread has all the towers listed on a map. Feel free to get new pics since mine are so old.If there is a location of the tower I can go snap pics of it.

On a sort of unrelated/related topic Vic Gundotra has stepped down as head of Google+. He has been a major player at Google for quite a few years. http://mobile.theverge.com/2014/4/24/5649366/google-boss-vic-gundotra-is-leaving-the-company

Anytime Google updates an app it usually takes a week to hit my phone. I haven't got the Calendar update our Hangouts yet.I still can't update hangouts through the play store! I'll be able to use a computer for more than 30 seconds tomorrow so maybe I'll sideload it.

Calibrating batteries is b.s. there are many, many factors for battery life. Calibration is a myth.

We know better but, to be fair this phone says it is Spark capable out the box on Sprints website and advertising. And they said early 2014 was when it would be updated.Don't get me wrong, I want triband as much as the next person, but you should buy phones for what they do not what they will do in the future.

I'm pretty sure it will roll out to everyone and contain all the bug fixes with also adding Spark compatibility. Phones are a little different than tablets because tablets have Wi-Fi versions and cellular connected versions.I know what the update supposedly did (the Nexus 7 LTE worked fine on VZW prior to the update) , I was more referencing the fact that the updates could be targeted to specific carriers.

That update simply made it possible to activate it on the Verizon network is why. What are the odds of a Sprint only update that is not 4.4.3? I have an LTE Nexus 7 that is on the T-Mobile 200mb free monthly plan. I never received the update that rolled out with the VZW Nexus 7 launch. Could it be possible that the update will only roll out to devices with a Sprint SIM? If you look at the factory image page https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#hammerhead for the Nexus 7 LTE, you will see the 2 versions
You see one clearly labeled for VZW for the same model.

Force stopping Google Play Services and clearing data is not good to do.

We currently carry it and have since shortly after its release in my store but each store keeps different stock on products. Our shipping is free and fast though.I just checked online, and not a single Best Buy in the Chicagoland area carries that phone. It has to be shipped to store. Maybe they got burned on the price matching too many times and pulled it. Oh well, thanks for the tip.

I work at Best Buy and do whatever I can to help the customer. But we simply can't lose money on a sale, we are a business.

I had no case till I dropped it and the screen shattered. $146 to get it fixed from LG + shipping to Texas and it took 2 weeks to get the phone back. So I have a couple cases now.

Its just a demo so it doesn't have service so no signal strength. Screen is very nice and big. The phone is huge. The curve is pretty cool not as gimmicky as I thought it would be. The back is nothing special. Just a high glossy plastic back like a S4.Any chance to test it out? Signal strength compared to the g2 or n5? Screen quality? Other impressions?

We got our Sprint demo of the Flex today at my Best Buy store. Its pretty cool actually. First thing we did was scratch the back and push on it to make it flex. Lol.

Am I the only one that has voice mails work just fine on the stock phone? When I get a voicemail it pops up in my notifications just fine. When I delete it it goes away within a few minutes. No issues here after the most recent update to 4.4.2

The guest feature is on the LG G2 not all Android phones. So I understand that on android you can set up more than one user account and have one for guests etc. I can't seem to find that on this phone. Is that feature still around? thanks!
