  2. All LTE connections are problematic to Triband devices without being connected to CSFB. Regardless of Band.

    Robert

So the update will only help the 11 markets that are spark? Arg...was wanting to lock onto band 41..since these are closer to completion in the area

  3. Quick question... Does any spark phone work on the active lte towers in the area? I have the g2, no spark update yet, and it doesn't stay connected... shows for a second once in awhile.. Or are all the current lte towers still waiting on eCSFB updates....

LOL you really thought it was the spark update? Do you remember how big the size of the update was? I assume the Spark update will be a decent size.

All the ZV8 build does is fix the garbling audio issue during phone calls which is a much needed fix. When Sprint says the Spark update will come in early 2014, I think they really mean that. Also we don't know if Sprint might combine the Spark update and Android 4.4 update together in the same build.

    Version

    Release Date

    Description of Enhancements/Fixes ZV8 12/06/2013

    • Audio issue enhancement
    • Google security patch

I think it was 108mb...decent size for just and audio update...camera seems better inside almosr flawless with no lag

  6. Yes, you are right. You discovered the secret. Sprint plans to let Network Vision deployment linger in the Queen City until the Sun goes red giant and engulfs the Earth.

Cincinnati thread, you have been warned multiple times. Do you want to be productive? Or do you want to be banned? Your choice...

Not sure why this one line was taken from my post and

Scrutinized. I apologize to those I offended may have exaggerated...I have only been waiting 4 years what's another....

  7. Well sent the g2 to lg for the odd high pitch sounds emitting from the camera area. Got the phone back same issue so took it to sprint and getting a replacement. I have seen another issue using chrome. It seems to not load or focus all text in a webpage. As you scroll i need to wit till the text focuses really anoying ended up removing chrome

  8. Just at the sprint store in tricounty. Of course none of their spark phones had lte. Of course the note 3 was working. I talked to the rep about the signal issues and he said that they are working on the 3g side of things first should be done first quarter 2014. Then working on the 1900 by end of 2nd quarter 2014.. I dont think it will ever get done... oh and he said 30% of towers are upgraded to 800 but wont turn on until the 1900 is complete. Not sure what this info is worth...

  9. where is this located?

Blue rock rd. At the UDF parking lot. I ran sensorly around the area not sure if it captured anything. It used to display the colored paths but I only see speed test... This was recorded on it though as a speedtest

  10. I'm sure this has been answered, but is there an activation fee for the n5 if I purchased it off from Google Play?

  11. I just hope if you sell it to someone, they don't get hosed when that phone ends up getting reported as stolen and blacklisted.

    -Mike

I sent it back to lg for repair/exchange.. It well be nice and new in 2 weeks :-)

Also there instructions for repair is to remove sim and back cover... The cover comes off pretty easily one you get sim out

  12. Weren't you missing the entire back of the phone?! That might have had something to do with it.....

    -Mike

Yeah I bought a replacement... Battery also seemed to be lacking compared to my note . Also the g2 development seems to be a bit slow... I can have cm11 running on my note 2 right now
