  1. Robert, with the markets that have launched already, what is the timeline like between the first sites going live with the rest? Is it normally done in clusters, or is it more a tower here, a tower there? Thanks!
  2. Wow, good call, I just watched somebody map it on the train near my house, I zoomed in and out and watched blip crawl along the rail.
  3. I'm glad there are so many reports, unfortunately no LTE here still, 19120. Also I'm not seeing anything on sensorly, do more people have to report for them to mark an area as active?
  4. As frustrating as the wait for LTE is, there is one positive from Sprint, they seem to be the best carrier with updates. At least with the GSIII, they have been well ahead of the curve. Sorry to get a little off topic, with all the Sprint bashing that occurs in this thread, from myself even, it's nice to acknowledge the positive sometimes.
  5. I've been using the lte discovery app anytime I leave my house, with nothing to report.
  6. That's what I have been doing, that was my point, cnet wasn't the only site that posted that, it was just the link I used.
  7. Cnet wasn't the only site that reported it, that's what I found so strange about.
  8. I apologize, I just read this: http://m.cnet.com/news/sprints-4g-lte-quietly-pops-up-in-san-francisco-new-york/57569964 Not sure why this article was just posted today, although there is no mention of any date those sites went live. Cnet is just behind I suppose.
  9. Sprint "quietly" launched lte in parts of San Fran, NYC and DC today, if you look at the maps on sensorly the areas are covered pretty well. Hopefully this is an indicator Philadelphia is right around the corner, and the coverage will be just as good!
  10. Glad to hear it! Keep an eye on it and let me know if your speeds drop within the next few days, like mine.
  11. Same here, in NEP. The other day, a few posts up actually, the tower at my work was down, when it came back online the first speed test was crazy. Now it's subsided a bit during the day and the speeds aren't great, but when I get i at 4 am I get close to 1-2 mbps up and as high as 3 down. I imagine I must be the only one using that tower at that time, so I'm sure that's the reason.
  12. I noticed another crew outside of my job again today on the tower, immediately after noticing them, my internet was down, then the cell service went out and I was roaming. Both my cellular and data would pop on and off, but definitely wasn't working as they should have.My question, could this indicate 4g will be at this site in the next couple of days, or am I just overexcited and it means nothing at all?
  13. Crazy, I live close to a tower as well and I'm lucky if I see like .1 mbps up. I hope I see that kind of improvement soon!
  14. How could you be getting those speeds on 3g? I don't mean to sound argumentative or doubting or anything, that's just insane considering my best is a third of that.
  15. I actually was in the media area and had a chance to give lte a go. It was amazing, 27 down, 7 up. YouTube and Netflix streamed instantly, it felt like a new phone. I'm too excited at this point.
  16. I know, that's what I was referring to, I probably should have quoted it, my bad.
  17. At this point, it would be very nice to see a new site on sensorly, if only to justify my constant, obsessive need to check the map once an hour!
  18. Disregard my ignorance if I'm incorrect, I know nothing about delco, but hasn't this site already been mapped and discussed?
  19. There was a crew out back of my work yesterday, looks like there are some new panels, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It's definitely a Sprint tower so I assume it was NV, they were very quick though, in and out in about 5 hours.
  20. So no new activity so far on sensorly, is someone near media able to confirm that tower is still lit?
