Something I've noticed, device is a moto edge plus 2023. Scp doesn't fetch signal information very often when I have it open. when I have cell mapper open in back ground as well, scp updates every 2 to 3 seconds. Is this a bug or a setting not correct?

As far as I know Samsung will allow screen cast / miracast without Wi-Fi. You can also try a USBc to hdmi adapter. Last I heard is google blocks this wireless casting in favor to get people to use their chrome cast.

Finally got it in, setting it up right now got a lot of exploring to do.
Let me know how reception compares to your s20

S20 Ultra.
I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max. I tested this phone against a unlocked s21 ultra and the iPhone held signal while the Samsung didn’t. Only device that’s better that I’ve tested reception wise is my trusty old s6 active from att. That phone gets signal in places that the coverage map claims no service. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is about 3-5 dbm worse then the s6 active. That device is also rubber and plastic, no glass. Also 2x2 antennas vs iPhone at 4x4.

I've taken the plunge, I decided to upgrade. I'm taking a break from Samsung for a bit, S21 is a disaster of a phone and their general practices are questionable lately. Going back to my roots of Apple, 12 Pro Max to be specific. I'll definitely give Samsung a look again in the future, it's been a fun ride I've used Samsung exclusively since the S3. They need to win me back.
Which one gets better reception in weak areas?

I was able to get this installed now on my 12 Pro with the iOS 14.3 jailbreak. A fun part is that I was able to then install a tweak called CarPlayEnable and now I can have CellularInfo showing up on my car's entertainment system to check out new LTE bands.
Still wish I knew enough to work on getting the actual signal levels to display, but I was able to get another tweak called SignaldBm installed to replace the signal bars with the RSRP level in the status bar, so that works for now.
What all info does this app display vs the buggy field test

When I was testing a factory unlocked s20 ultra 5g against my 11 pro and s6 active on att on edge of cell signal in a state forest in Pennsylvania the iPhone did better then the s20. I’m back on sprint again due to better coverage thanks to shentel. My iPhone has been able to place a call up to -126dbm. As far as the s6 active goes, it’s by far the best phone for reception I’ve ever owned. It’s held onto a useable signal where att coverage map says no service. I just ordered the new Se from apple and will test that out. It has much better antenna gain over the last few generations of the iPhone.

So the pro held onto band26 longer then the Xs and the s10+. Also it held onto 1x 800 longer then both of those devices. It pretty much matched the iPhone 7 Plus I had years ago holding onto 1x. I never had the 8 plus to compare too

I’ll be venturing into a state forest today with my 11pro. I’ll let everyone know my findings regarding usable signal vs the Xs and a unlocked s10+

I had a upload on band 41 2x upload at 22mbps this evening. So far no complaints.

So after waiting 2 hrs in line at the apple store I finally have a 11 pro. I can tell you the reception is alittle better then last years iPhones. It is a lot better then the unlocked s10 plus I was using which anything above -112 was useless.

No, but from what I've read online, it appears that the Antennas do have somewhat better performance than the XS & XS Max.
I'm on SWAC, so I can't upgrade there. Oh well.
Where did you read this?
-
I'm just hoping that they designed the antennas better then last years. I had the xs and it wasn't bad, I have a s10 plus now and its horrible with anything above -114. I read awhile back that samsung did change there supplier for antennas starting with the s10. I've also read that the new iPhones are using a different material for there antennas this year. Hopefully wavelength does a breakdown soon.

Can anyone that has bought the unlocked version of the s10 share what the carrier aggregation options are? under ##data# lte menu
-
What device was the reading reported on?
-
Since the phones have passed though the fcc Will wavelength do a wall post article? From what I read is that it can do 2 carrier upload on band 41, 66 and 5. Also it looks to have a very good antenna across the board.

Indeed! Great find.
Yes it is! My wife’s g7 isn’t aggregating the two bands so I’m not sure if that device supports that band combo. My device is the xs. I’ve checked multiple times to verify it’s not a mistake.

Yes I’m waiting for the tower serving my home to have more spectrum brought online. Only 5x5 of 25 and 26 online
-
Yeah there are a lot of rural areas around chambersburg that you can’t get a signal with T-Mobile. And then there’s some areas in town like in Hanover pa where shentel needs to place more towers or small cells due to congestion. I know in my area Verizon has been adding small cells and macros like crazy.

They also have band 41 in Chambersburg also. Was just up there last week
Yes that sector I was on had 5x5 band 26, 10x10 and 15x15 bad 25, (2) 20mhz and (1) 10mhz of band 41.

Yes, I have been finding this 10Mhz channel at quite a few sites. Been there for a month or so at least. Last time I looked at it, the 3rd carrier was not aggregated with the first two. Not sure if that is still true.
Per the engineering screens on my xs, the primary carrier is the 10mhz with two 20mhz carriers.
