It worked' date=' didnt think about that.[/quote']Awesome, and with that network ticket out, you may get faster 3G speeds if the engineers find any problems with the cell site.
-
Yes, Untethered! Are you jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1 now? -
How about transferring your purchases to iTunes and backup+restore?Yeah thats when the problems got worse. Now I can't even update the PRL. And even though it say I have 3G or 1X if I try to use Safari it says "Could not activate celluar data network. You are not subscribed to a cellualr data service" I keep reseting the network setting but no difference.

Past 2 days I haven't had a 3G signal. I have an iphone 4s and it keeps showing the small circle for 1x. A few hours ago I decided to call sprint. Knowing what they would have me do I decided to run thru it all before I called. This inclueded powering off and on the phone and updateding the PRL with ##update#. Once connected to a person I let them know that I had done all of that but they had me do it again. Keep in mind this is happening to all 3 phones on the account so there is no way its a phone problem and is obviously the network. Finally she had me reset the network setting and then update the PRL again. this time it failed and keeps on failing. She then decide to make a network ticket and since mondays a holiday I won't hear back for a few days. But since the call I have gone other places and can not connect to the internet because celluar data is not activated since she had me update the PRL and it still keeps failing.
I am located in Oceanside NY 11572' date=' is anyone else having issues around there? My tower is either on of theses NY07XC706 or NY27XC333.[/quote']
Have you tried resetting the network settings? (settings/ general/ reset/ reset network settings) Was told by a Sprint tech that this should be done right before updating the PRL.

LifeProof wants more money than I'm willing to part with for a phone case. I'll stick with my free Otterbox Defender. You might want to get a LifeProof Case. Or carry a Dummyphone for those "accidental" drop moments.
On the subject of a possible virtual home button from a few pages ago; I was concerned by the thought of a virtual home button and not being able to enter DFU mode. After the latest Absinthe release this is no longer necessary as it does every bit of the work for you. Suck it Apple!

Sometimes when I get impatient with Sprint, my phone gets dropped with force. For example, it got dropped through a plexiglass window a few months ago. It needs to be durable for when the network is slow. How does the casing of the iphone affect which carrier you use?

Here is a tower that is right next to a friends shop.
And here is one we passed with things on it that I have never seen before.
-
I hope so. The casing needs to be more durable if I'm going to continue to be with Sprint.I hear that the A5x can handle a whole lot more than the A4 did. -
Retina display means nothing to me either. Wow so many pixels that human eyes cannot even see! The next iPhone better have LTE and a damn good speaker in it. I might not buy it otherwise. Apple should partner with SkullCandy for the sound aspects of the phone. And I don't know how well A5 processors perform, but the A4 has a hard time staying afloat in my ocean of mods and tweaks, so hardcore processing power is a necessity also!

Well this thread sure went down the crapper since I viewed it last.

Heights scare the crap out of me, but I'd climb towers every day for a paycheck.

Where is the earpiece hole? If that tiny hole is the earpiece' date=' where is the front camera hole? Probably a fake 3D printed part and not very well thought out either.[/quote']This panel is supposedly from the next gen iPod touch which is why there is no earpiece hole.
I hope they make the screen wider as well. It would look stupid if it was only longer.

I'm not going to lie' date=' snot flew out of my nose at 1:02.[/quote']
Okay I did lie a little bit.. Sorry' date=' I was looking at how much time was left in the video. It was around :46 when the snot rocket launched. You'd be surprised what iDEN customers have complained about in terms of their devices.
And Floridaland.looool. Stop paying for internal videos to be produced and finish Chicagoland. -
I'm not going to lie, snot flew out of my nose at 1:02.Check out this Sprint Network Vision Video. It is really interesting to watch. -
I can watch HD YouTube videos on 3G with my iPhone.

If that's in response to my last post:
I'm just guessing how Apple will setup the next iPhone for release in the fall. There were talks that the 4S could have 128GB of storage' date=' however that never happened, so I'm speculating on the iPhone 5 release. I would hope that the 4S never comes in 8GB. The OS file is just getting too big now for an 8GB phone.[/quote']
My apologies, I misread your post. I thought you were saying that there is an 8GB 4S. 128GB is almost the capacity of my laptop hard drive, I wouldn't even know what to do with all that memory! lol
-
I don't believe Sprint sells an eight gigabyte version of the 4S.
Neither does Apple, weird..
