  1. A lot of people don't realize that the EVO LTE connectivity issues are due to either a manufacturer or OS defect, and are not Sprints fault.

BTW - slightly off topic but last two weeks I've had a big increase in dropped calls, no service inside buildings (a local Target for example) and even ROAMING while I'm in a parking lot next to a known WIMAX area.

Less than 40% of Sprint and Clear sites are co-located, so areas that have good WiMAX coverage may not have good Sprint coverage. Check out network.sprint.com and see if any network upgrades are taking place in your area.

  2.

I checked wayyyyy back. There really haven't been any changes to 5116 record in over 2 yrs' date=' and even that one was minor that didn't even affect the channel scans. So any issues that have cropped up recently on your phone are not due to a PRL update.[/quote']

Thanks for looking that up! I'm actually starting to think that my modem, router and phone don't play nicely with each other.

  3.

No' date=' the 4 digit system id associated with your area found in your debug screen.[/quote']

Oh I thought you meant site ID. System ID is 5116.

  4. Ever since I updated to 60690, I've been having problems with not receiving calls, texts sending multiple times, missing parts of sent texts and even not being able to connect to known wifi networks. Is anyone aware of how to revert back to 60687 on the iPhone 4?

  5. I work in an EMI Proof building. It's basically a giant Farraday cage. As soon as you walk in the door' date=' the cell coverage drops out. Some years ago, before LTE was a thing, they installed cell repeaters. Would these older repeaters be able to pass LTE, or will I be stuck on EV-DO at work?[/quote']

It depends on the capabilities of equipment that is in use. There are many variables and without knowing what is being used as “repeaters” I cannot tell you whether or not it will work. There are other members who are more knowledgeable on this subject than I. Maybe AJ will poke his head in here...

  6. I am trying to connect an Xbox to the Internet but it is the version without the built in wireless adapter and to buy the one that plugs into the back would cost me at least $50. I have created a network bridge on my laptop for the time being, but I would really like to free it up for other things beside acting as a network bridge. Can anyone please simply explain how to set a Westell A90-750022-07 to act as a receiver and connect to my wireless network and have the Xbox connected to the Westell?
