Hey guys, any word on the black 32 gig being able to get activated?
-
Okay update. I called and didn't get anywhere.
I tried the link and im getting my sim in 3-5 days. Offered overnight for 12.50.
-
On the phone now, lady told me the 11th. Wow.
Edit: Spoke to the manager. He told me to go to the store on the 8th and get it from them then.
-
After talking with Sprint international 5 TIMES, they finally ordered me the correct SIM. It shouldn't have been this hard....
I'm assuming your N5 will arrive before your sim, are you going to use 3g til you get it or try and use another sim you may have?

Order date: Oct 31, 2013 1:03:55 PM CDT
Got my tracking number last night around midnight. Still shows nothing on UPS though, 2 day shipping.
-
So I have no plans to sell my htc one, with that said can I use my htc one sim on my n5?
-
Dang! I should of read the last couple of pages. Laziness made me look like a fool today.
-
I read this link which might add to the discussion.
https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/3473178
"If Sprint is your mobile service provider, you may need to provide a MEID identification number to activate your phone. To get the MEID number, remove the last digit of the IMEI number."
Sorry if it's a repost.

It seems the new iPhones (5C and 5S) will support the new Sprint 800MHz band. I just checked the devices' tech specs. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Seems like you're right. Missing TD-lte though.
Can we expect the 800/2500 rollout in the same fashion? Far suburbs inward?
-
Hey guys, is there a plan on the rollout for band 26 and 41? Like which one will get rolled out first? What parts of town (chicago)? I've searched high and low on this site and cant seem to find it.

As I type this I cannot send/receive calls or text messages. I did a couple of speed tests with these results. Is this normal. I like getting calls/texts and don't like not getting them. Help please.

800 is a lower priority. You only need it when you have a low 1900 signal, like inside a basement or far away from a tower. Your device will only scan for 800 SMR CDMA when the 1900 CDMA carrier have a poor EcIo ratio.
There are testing PRL's you can install that will force scan for 800 carriers. You can download one of these to see if 800 Channel 476 is being broadcast in your area. But these PRL's would not be good as a daily driver. We have one in the S4GRU DL Center.

Robert the sheer amount of information I learn from you is amazing.
So with LTE and EVDO-A being on 1900 I can expect the same amount of bars at all locations I'm currently having trouble with, correct?
-
Sweet, hopefully when lte is on I'll get like 2mb down on one bar.It will only be connecting to CDMA 1x RTT on 800MHz though. EVDO (what people generally refer to as 3G) will only be broadcast on 1900MHz.
Also, if you have a Nexus S as your profile indicates, you will not be connecting to 800MHz as that phone lacks the hardware to connect to the SMR band.
-
Sorry, I updated my phone information, I have an evo lte. I'm not running the stock software so I don't think dialer codes will work
-
Hey guys, might be a noob question. But I see that the tower close to my house has been set up for 800 3g. As far as I knew 800 would penetrate through walls better, but I haven't noticed an increase in the bars that I'm getting. Is there a way to see which band you're on?
