  3. I've never had speeds like this near my home. I know sprint was planning to upgrade this tower this April (additional T1). I randomly decided to speed tests since I switched to LiquidSmooth 4.2.2. I have the Note 2 and its on eHRPD prl 56013 and these were early morning.

  8. That would be awesome if LTE comes to SLC area, I don't live in this area (actually SE Idaho), but our area uses the SLC/Utah switch. I could expect to see LTE sometime after that, hopefully before the fourth quarter. It's hard seeing my friends and family using Verizon's LTE and me using inconsistent 3G speeds...our area is largely dominated by Verizon.

  11. Sadly the negative comments trump the few or unheard positive comments. Many large internet providers agree to "monopolize" an area, i think its why their industry is usually disliked. http://bgr.com/2013/03/01/time-warner-cable-criticism-353827/ I personally like Sprint, based on their businesses and customer decisions(being stuck on 3G is frustrating though) compared to VZW n ATT
  12. As a former Sprint Premiere Care Rep for numerous years I pretty much agree with this. Many reps didn't really know what LTE was about or understand the time frames, Consumer and Sales depts are another issue. And LTE/NV/IDEN were related to many of our calls. Sent from my Sprint powered Galaxy Note 2
  13. I got -92dbm 2 asu eHRPD:13 and just got 1.7Mbs down .861Mbs up...I live in SE Idaho. We just barely got Sprint 3G in Oct 2010. My S3 always said Evdo Rev A:6, but the Note 2 I just got connects to eHRPD
  14. There are numerous articles, even on sprint.com, that detail Clearwire's plans for 4G LTE regarding Sprint. Clearwire's goals are similar to the troublesome Lightsquared, they're in the business of wholesale. They plan to overlay Sprint's 4G LTE network in large markets where Sprint might have trouble meeting data demands. Clearwire has large spectrum assets they can use to deliver 20MHz x 20MHz in the top markets. Clearwire's frequency runs on higher frequency around 2.4GHz http://www.fiercewir...tion/2012-07-26 http://www.fiercebro...n-20/2012-10-03 I cant find the article from one of the Sprint Execs where he talked about about the sooner than expected decommissioning of 9600 IDEN towers this year which allows them to use CDMA on 800MHz this year and then LTE on 800MHz next year in some areas. Being part of Sprint Cust Care I can only talk about whats officially announced
