You can try one from http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3059-800smr-testing-prl-for-lte-devices (sponsors only) or http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2677-anyone-interested-in-a-prl-with-800smr-and-lte/ (permire sponsors only).
I was on 54014 when I connected the first time but like I said, I think it was just sheer luck that it connected then.
-
You may need to get a prl that scans 800 first. I think it was just pure luck that I connected on Saturday. I switched to a 800 first prl and I stay connected from Winchester to Front Royal no problem.
Robert, it looks like all the but the GMOs have 800 active around here. I drove around to all of them in Winchester, Front Royal, Middletown, and Stephens City with all of them giving around -50 at the site.

From what I could tell it was SH00VA021 and it held on for 4 miles out 522. If I remember correctly, that site was one of the first around here to go live.

I got really bored one day and went around to most on the upgraded Shentel sites around me but never got around to posting them. These are Alcatel Lucent and are free to use for whoever wants to make the guide. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nzur04lyvg7z2vo/3UcqH7kJUj

I FOUND SHENTEL!!!!! I also got passed by two Sprint trucks today.
The bad news is I still can't connect down in Front Royal and I've seen lifts sitting in front of a few completed sites around Winchester.
-
Robert, https://network.sprint.com/search/22601/ everywhere that it shows 2 data speed upgrades are active LTE towers and are in the right spots. The locations that only show 1 upgrade are towers that I have seen work being done in the past couple weeks. Hopefully that makes it a little easier to mark the towers and if you need any of them mapped that are close just let me know.
PS SH00VA011 in Middletown is on the wrong side of I81

The tower on the Exxon sign at exit 317 on I81 is now active, battery has been to low to map it but I got a speed test https://www.dropbox....%2021.40.38.png.
A tower has been turned on around Route 37 and US 50 but the signal quickly drops heading west after Rt37.
Also got some pictures of the Sprint and AT&T equipment on top of the George Washington Hotel. Unfortunately Shentel hasn't started the upgrade on it and it will be about a year before I can get back on the roof. Sorry for some of the images being sideways, the accelerometer has stopped working on my phone. https://www.dropbox....w7b0/yfNcmqm5ew

I mapped US11 from Winchester down to New Market and back up I81 to Strasburg and then to Front Royal and up US522 back to Winchester. I even side tracked to Shentel's HQ in Edinburg (it's been a few years since I was in there for training). My phone absolutely refused to connect in Front Royal even running in LTE only but i was able to add about 6000 LTE points on my journey.
-
Because I can't. There is no dark purple on the Sensorly map to help me find a tower in Front Royal. It's possible that the Front Royal signal is coming from the tower between Front Royal and Stephens City that i already have mapped.

Just wanted to make sure you didn't miss it. I'm sure there are a couple more that have been activated since my last trip down there. It shouldn't be to long before I get back down there for work and can map some more.

My EVO would only hold onto a -109, but it was in a vehicle with tinted windows. However, my Galaxy S3 will hold onto a -120 in the same vehicle with the same tinted windows.Tinted windows in a home can cause issues. I am not sure the tint in car windows is the same thing.
I did my EVO testing about 6 weeks ago. Maybe you have had an update to yours that improved it??
My EVO has held down to -131, not a very good but it kept it for about a minute before i got to a better signal. My mom has a S3 and has a problem connecting to 1x in our metal office building when my EVO gets 3 bars. We have Wifi so LTE usually disconnects before I even get a chance to check it but when my wifi is off my LTE stays connected on usable with 3-4mbps up and down while her S3 cant even connect standing in the parking lot with -80 to -90 depending on witch side of the building you are. The weird thing is on the same tower but a different sector she can connect just fine.
Back to the original topic, There are at least 3 more towers here in Winchester. They are somewhere around exits 315, 313, 310.
Robert, you still haven't added Front Royal from where I mapped back in Oct.
-
Drove south past the tower at exit 307 on I81 around 2:30 this afternoon and had nothing. Drove back north at about 4:00 and had me some LTE goodness. You can see the difference in the map on Sensorly between the south and north trip. http://www.sensorly....1908,-78.215922

And yet another Exxon sign is being upgraded https://www.dropbox.com/s/mcejg61qbiecxds/2012-11-01%2017.45.59-32.jpg This one is just off exit 317 on I81.

EDIT: Looks like someone mapped in Wardensville, WV and Berryville, VA in the past few days.

Passed an A/L van packing up for the end of the day working on the panels on the Exxon sign on I81 exit 310. Looks like they just started work there in the passed couple days.
