I got some mapping done in Front Royal today. It seemed like I picked it up sooner than I did the other week but can't be sure.
The panels at exit 307 have been painted black since yesterday but I couldn't get any pictures of them.

Robert, there's another one on an Exxon sign in Winchester at exit 310. Hopefully they upgrade that one soon, it's so overloaded that dial up is faster and more reliable.

That's one awesome stealth site. Never seen one like that before. You can see the RRU's mounted below the sign and the panels on both sides. Neato.

sure they werent just fixing the sign?
It's a tower(can't think of the proper term right now). It was up yesterday, I look at it every time i get off at that exit. I noticed the lift there yesterday while eating lunch at Taco Bell.

It looks like this one is next. This is along I81 at exit 307. There was no markings that I could see on them.

@PythonFanTN Nice work along I81. I would have mapped a lot more today but Sensorly decided it was going to use half my battery in 30 minutes then once I finally got off work and could charge my phone, it decided to not map anything while using the map trip. The good news is I was able to keep my LTE throughout most of Winchester today. I'll try to ride around tomorrow to see what I can find.
I'm hoping they upgrade the tower on the George Washington Hotel's roof by the time I do my next fire inspection so I can get some good pictures of the equipment

Just picked up a signal in northern Winchester that wasn't there yesterday. I mapped what I could driving between job sites.

Gotcha....I'm on the Moto Photon Q so we'll see what I pick up if anything. I was just looking at the map a few minutes ago and figured that area between SC & Winchester and the area near Hagerstown would be the most likely places I pick anything up unless I hit something new before SC in VA or after I cross the VA line, until I reach Harrisburg.
The radio has been acting up in my phone and completely locking up until I restart it so you may have better luck than me picking it up along I81.

Unless something happens to change plans last minute, I'll be making a road trip to (Friday) and from (Monday) the Harrisburg PA area by way of I-40/I-81....I'm going to try and keep Sensory active the entire trip up and back, so I may catch some Shentel areas along the way (particularly Winchester area that's mentioned if its live and reaching as far as the interstate). Will also make a point to have it on/mapping if I end up doing any driving in H-burg proper.
I think what i picked up in lower Winchester/Kernstown may have been coming from Stevens City as I only connected when I was facing towards Stevens City. I couldn't pick up a lte signal on I81 between Winchester and Stevens City.

I've picked up LTE in Front Royal, VA, Stevens City VA, and in the lower part of Winchester, VA. While it hasn't been full coverage, the speeds average from 10-16Mbps down and around 5-10Mbps and peaking at 20Mbps down.
I've been seeing an Alcatel Lucent van 2-3 times a week for the past few weeks.

It looks like there is a Liberty sign at exit 302 with the nv panels on it but I couldn't connect to it.
