I am hearing reports of people in Indian rocks beach that have lost sprint service for a few weeks now. Does anyone know if equipment taken down to make room on those sites? or does anyone live or travel through that area that can confirm there is an outage there.

I've gotten over 16.8mbps off the south tower with my sg3.

I have the Iphone5 and tested several times and the best was around 8 down and high 7 upload. just wired that i see everyone else getting better speeds. As someone else said they have not offically released the sites so this might be a testing phase.

Each device must allow for different speeds or the pinellas towers are throttled back. The best i seen was 8 mpbs, not that i am complaining i just expected more than that.

I noticed quite abit of 4g on Park Blvd between 66 st. And us19. This morning. I ran sensory, so hopefully it'll be up soon.

I was able to pick up the 4G along Gandy and 275 to about 9th street.

I think the radio in the iphone is not as strong at in the android devices. I live near a lot that was mapped yesterday and out of my car on the street that has been mapped i get nothing. I tried cycling into airplane mode and power cycling the phone nothing. I was able to pick up signal along belcher rd but was only a bar or 2 and slow speeds. Maybe i have a faulty iphone5

So seeing all the action about some LTE sightings i decided to do some looking also. I stopped to get a drink at the circle K on 66th just south of 102 and had 1 bar of LTE. the dropped off before i could do a test. I drove 19 up to drew street and nothing, i decided to head over to Belcher and at Belcher and Drew success LTE! it was spotty down Belcher but had it at Belcher and nursery, then again Belcher and east bay. For the people that can run sensorly that will give you some locations to go check out. Here are a few screen grabs of my iPhone 5, i was not all that impressed with the speed tests i did.

Weird that it looked like thing were starting to light up and now nothing new so far this week. I hope they are not taking off for Christmas early.

Is there a way to tell was the land o lakes tower one of the first that was in progress? i am not able to see the other maps or spreadsheets that shows in progress or complete.

I am just wondering is there a reason that they are starting with sites not in the meto area first.

What do you do exactly if I can ask? You live in Pinellas Park?

Its not on yet is it? That tower is on the in progress map, panels have been up for awhile. I live near that tower too but for some reason I forget about it because its outside of my regular route

No there was some seal tight that looks like it needs power, they were hanging there next to the power panel with pull string in them. I got to finally see the new equipment up close. We are currently mounting some equipment on the tower at the top and i was there mounting the equipment in our rack. I will be out there later this week connecting out firewall and IP equipment. I will take another look then.

This is the tower on Starkey Rd in seminole, i figured i would look while i was there working on our equipment.

I was just at a site working on some of our equipment in seminole where sprint shares the tower space. The cabinets are set and panels are up but were not connected. I have some picture on my phone that i will upload in a few minutes.

I am waiting to see more light up along 275 and gandy in pinellas. On another note i made a donation is there a certain amount or level to see the tower list in progress?

I have been monitoring the site for tall the 4g roll outs, i just made a small donation with Christmas coming up i plan on supporting more in the months to come.

NV- Network Vision. It's the name for Sprint's plan to revamp the network and add LTE. And yes, the RRUs (big boxes) behind the panels do have green LEDs on them.

Thanks, i have noticed them on a few towers near my home and work but based on what i have been reading At&t also uses that same setup. I only noticed them with the bright LED lights at night.

I have a question about the NV Panels.. Why are they called NV and are they the ones that you can see the green power LED on them at night?

I wish they had the app available for the Iphone.

I believe it is, i drove by that site a little over a week ago and also seen a crew working there. It it the one on the east side of 275 where 4th street drops on to 275.

I just drove by a crew working on the tower North east corner of 66th and 54th north. Maybe someone can confirm if that is a sprint tower, i did not have time to stop and see what crew was working there.
