I actually saw that in the theatre the first week it came out. They're supposedly doing a remake of it too now.

Is that the son of Johnny 5?
AJ
Yes, and when he learned to talk, his first words were: "Beautiful LTE, better Speedtest!"

Ever notice how "Robert" and "Robot" both start with "Rob?" Coincidence? I'm starting to wonder.
I, for one, welcome our new S4GRU overlord!

nahum365 wants to download Bill Gates' porn collection.
Now taking bets whether LTE goes live before the months it'll take him to accomplish that on current Sprint legacy 3G speeds.

....so I haven't been able to use Roam Control to force roam here in Columbia, SC onto Verizon to see if I get EvDo or not on 55006
Just FYI, if that's the only reason you'd be unlocking/rooting, then don't bother yet. MrGreg hasn't yet gotten the app updated to work with Motorola phones updated beyond Gingerbread yet unfortunately.

Seeing that is just one part but considering there is work being done and sites are live in Memphis and Nashville it wouldn't be surprising to see LTE lighting up, plus Knoxville was one of the sites that was listed back in Sept to launch in "coming months"
Yeah...I remember reading some reaction to that list by people unfamiliar with Tennessee, but a lot of what they announced here are small cities/midsized townships either along or very near a major interstate(s). Cookeville (where I live) & Crossville are both along I-40 between Nashville & Knoxville. The Tri-Cities are all in proximity to I-81, Columbia is near I-65, and Clarksville & Tullahoma are both near I-24. Three of those are also college towns (Tennessee Tech here in Cookeville, Austin Peay in Clarksville and East TN State in Johnson City.

eHRPD is showing up in Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol, Tn. I was able to get over 1MB. Still waiting on Knoxville, although I was able to get over 2MB in one part of town.
Awesome, I should be heading back through there next Friday and back on Veterans Day, I couldn't hit eHRPD until I was almost back home and hit Montery a couple weeks ago.

Gotcha....I'm both so I'm wondering how that might affect things.

Good luck! I'm still at 77.6.36.XT897.Sprint.en.US. Just tried updating, but I get a "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time."
Yeah, same here, no luck yet. Were you unlocked and rooted prior to this update owen?

Your phone switches to roaming suddenly just barely past midnight, and airplane cycling won't put you back on native Sprint signal.
LTE must be about to switch on....

There's LTE showing now in west Nashville along I-40 around the Briley Parkway/White Bridge Road interchange.

Hahaha, I hadn't heard that song in ages. And even though I remember the song I would never have remembered El Debarge for the group name. Yes, the 80's....The Grand One-Hit-Wonder Era. And I still love it.
