The maps that sponsors get access to. I just donated to the site.

Robert is usually pretty quick about updating your account, but when i checked a couple of minutes ago you don't seem to have been upgraded yet. He will probably send you a message one he does it. Once he does, you will see a whole new section of forums where the maps will be easy to find. Hope that helps.

I just did this on a i5 and it does not display eHRPD. I got to see 1xCDMA and 1x. Neither of these sub-menus showed eHRPD. I am in the ABQ market. Perhaps eHRPD was turned off now?

i remember seeing Robert say that he was no longer picking up eHRPD on the abq a couple days ago.

  3. 4 inch screen.. probably not a bad option. But, does this mean the iPhone 5 with its "big" screen should really be called the iPhone Mini?
marketing ploy to make Apple look bad? ;)

Not frequency, but width of the channel. Doesn't really matter for the frequency as far as speed is concerned.

gotcha. My wife just laughed at me for not realizing that. She's an electrical engineer.

  5. Also note that AT&T has 10MHz LTE channels only in 1/3 of the country. In another third, they have 5MHz channels. In the last third, they have zero 700MHz spectrum and will need to deploy LTE in another band (which won't be any time soon and will likely be 3MHz channels, if anything).

So in their 10MHz markets, they can reach 50Mbps speeds...but it won't be for long. In their 5MHz markets, they will likely be slower than Sprint, because they have less site density. And in 0MHz markets, it's safe to say Sprint will kick their butts.

    Robert

that's interesting. definitely don't hear that on TV ;)

  6. 37.5Mbps is about as fast as Sprint LTE can get. You have to be facing the tower in order to get speeds that fast. I have had a couple of speeds greater than 37.5Mbps, around 38-40Mbps. However, any speeds over 37.5Mbps are suspect as a possible misreading from the speed test software.

what is restricting this maximum? Back haul? Don't Verizon or att speeds hit in the fifties?

Actually, Google navigation does do voice, and does it well.

    Blinders people. Loose them.

I suspect he could be referring to the fact that Google maps in ios did not have voice turn by turn like the Android version did.

  8. I guess optimization would be one of the last things before completion. Think I'm stretching a bit now, but what the heck. I'm obviously not implying that they are done haha, but maybe rounding out the roster for the game.
