I can almost guarantee that is because of the upgraded co-lo. If I'm band locked to n41, it will kick me off.
That’s likely it. This is taken fairly close to the totem lake freeway station, just south of it on 405 I believe. That was a day of 13 hours worth of driving so I could be wrong but I do remember it was in Totem Lake Lake.

Excited to test it on the gig+ backhaul site at the University of Washington tomorrow, previously was maxing out around 1100mbps on 100MHz.
How was it?

T-Mobile wasn't on the tower behind Target, they were on the power pylon nearby. I've seen a number of conversions but not one where T-Mobile was already on the same tower.
That being said, I drove by there this morning going to the Costco Business Center and neither appeared to be live yet.
Ah, I was under the impression that the Sprint rack would be decommissioned, and T-Mobile would be migrating from the power pylon over to the Sprint rack due to some logistics issues working with PUD to perform work on the Pylon, hence why it has not been touched in such a long time.

I forgot to add, T-Mobile was already on that Sprint Keep Tower but on a lower rack. Sure enough, all of the new T-Mobile equipment is on the top rack (where Sprint used to be). This is the first conversion I have seen in the area where the Keep PLMN was used to denote T-Mobile was taking over Sprint's rack. I'm sure that has been very common in other areas.
The convert site behind Target at Alderwood may be active now, and potentially the conversion site by 196th / Alderwood mall PKWY

PCS. I don’t have AAHF or AEHC radiation patterns so I can’t simulate 2500 coverage unfortunately.
also tough to do as they support beamforming as well.

Sprint eNB 747123 has been outfitted with Sprint equipment. I hope they null the southwest sector on eNB 84598/97496…
Happen to snag a pic?

When I drove by the 5/405 interchange today, they had started upgrading this tower. There was a crane and workers on the Sprint rack. It looked like all of the Sprint equipment had been removed from the rack.
Woah! I moved away, but would love to see if you snagged pics!

Kathrein multiband antennas.
Are they in a shroud? I can't find any resources or reference to a large antenna like that from them

Forgiving the utter mess, what panels are on the bottom here? I know it's an AT&T site but there is zero documentation or references I have been able to find.-

Some photos from my visit to the site on Gregg's cycle in Bellevue with mmwave and 1G+ backhaul.
The 1G+ speed tests are on n41, the 800 one is on mmwave-

Unlikely:
I don’t have a T-Mobile traffic map to run a Monte-Carlo simulation or anything, but I doubt there’s a capacity need in that area.
Can I ask what tool this is you use to generate these maps and data sources? Is this accessible to you or afforded to you by your (potential, idk for sure) involvement in the industry?

The original post is how I would set the network up if I were building it from scratch. If I assume T-Mobile's sector alignments and remove the McDonald's site, this is what you would get.

It's better, but not great. Alternatively, if we remove the AT&T colo, we get...

If I remember correctly, that site is broadcasting a Sprint KeepPLMN as well.
Wow, with existing enbs:
99506/84602
DAS (I think) 82539,
84547/881750
84598/97497
PLUS the site on NB i5 onramp near Lowe's and pending migration off the power pylon, alderwood mall area will be blanketed quite well. I wonder if they are investigating n41 only small cells? Must be quite a challenge to coordinate all these low band sites near eachother. -

The top rack is a Sprint KMW 16=port antenna and a Samsung M-MIMO unit. The bottom is an AT&T Firstnet setup. The AT&T sector facing the mall has dual split-beam antennas for capacity. The microwave dishes at the bottom are from an abandoned Clearwire setup.
T-Mobile is set to hop off of the SnoPUD transmission tower and onto the Sprint rack in the "nearish" future. Dish will be joining in early 2022 as well. Verizon is also colocating onto that site (I think this is forecasted past Q2 2022 though)...
That will be a LOADED site. 4 racks! Any plans you know of for it's (almost) sister site near the onramp at Poplar & 196th wrt the sprint rack?

Confirmed, B2/12/41/66/71 are on 505921 and B41 is on 506063. Have not seen this format of eNB in the Seattle area before. Usually when they split eNBs, it is because they have more than 3 sectors.
Do you know what all is on the monopole behind target at alderwood? I’m here visiting and I don’t recall. I know T-Mobile is on the power pylon right by it.

There’s a good bit of complexity to bringing sites online, even conversions.
Integration/etc takes time because they don’t just affect the conversion site, but every site around said conversion. Surrounding sites’ electrical downtilts need to be edited, handoff parameters need to be optimized, CA needs to be configured, neighbor lists have to be updated, PCIs/PRACH RSIs need to be carefully chosen, etc; and that’s barely scratching the surface.
Fair, and that can be tough in a more urban environment. All the conversion sites in my area in southern AZ were online within a week, and it seems all (if not most) in WA have not been turned on, even after multiple months.

I wouldn't be surprised if they intend to do similar to TMo with the low-band (b71 in TMos case) being the primary carrier and mid-band providing the high data throughout (n41 for TMo).
The warehouse district site is complete. I snapped some pics of the work in progress last week. Weather hasn't complied with snapping a final finished shot.
None of the conversion sites I have come across are live yet. I have no idea why because they are all 100% complete. Hope it's soon because a bunch of coworkers who are T-Mobile customers have been complaining about how bad the signal has gotten recently. It's essentially non-existent at the back of our Woodinville location.
I have heard this a lot about the SEA market - I moved away in January, but been hearing conversion sites are not online yet. Seriously wonder why. I cannot think of a reason myself. @RAvirani I saw earlier in the thread you had a email thread going on with someone at T-Mobile? Probably the regional network manager? Might you reach out to him?

I suppose I should get around to updating that map. So little free time these days.I
I'll post another thread with an edited image like the one here once you update yours!

I edited one of the coverage maps from here to make it easier to tell the difference from native Sprint coverage and roaming. Darker spots have no coverage at all.

I understand it is less than desirable, but find a friend with a Sprint mobile Wi-Fi device. Test reception in your home at the higher levels of the home. My mobile Wi-Fi has both 4G Wi-Max and fallback to 3G. Yes the rates for service are INSANE, but you would have something for your higher priority needs.
Do you have any idea what your true monthly usage is when measured in MB or GB?
There are third party services called Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) that use Sprint towers for its backbone. I use Freedom Pop (MVNO) as my backup Wi-Fi when traveling or the home Internet fails. Their Hub Burst is the same receiver you now have so do not let the name fool you. It is 4G Wi-Max only as you know.
We still see some Wi-Max but mostly my device falls back to 3G and I still get the speeds you like or better. There are plans that you can game the plan to get more for your money. It may even be possible for each family member to have their own portable Wi-Fi unit if the signal is strong enough to reach them. When doing so, each family member can "Friend" each other for bonus Wi-Fi allocations. Doing so, I have gained a factor of 4X my monthly allocation for what I pay for each month. When I fail to use my allocation, for a small additional fee, I can bank my unused allocation into the next period.
Hopefully somebody will come up with a better solution by November 2015 or some other Internet provider will find your block. The nice thing - most MVNOs have a monthly service plan without a contract unlike Sprint itself.
Here's an LTE option

I was there and I thought so, I will say that data was ROUGH at Alderwood mall on the 14th. I speculated the Pylon site was still online. Pretty much the same experience as the Totem Lake screenshots.
