1. Would make sense if stx got it first, they did get their 3g nv equipment installed first not to mention they have less towers and less congestion than stt so I wouldn't be surprised if they get lte turned on first. I doubt the criteria for who gets turned on first has anything to do with this. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
2. I wonder why this area has been so slow to get wrapped up. I can see all those incomplete towers in the sponsors map. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
3. San Juan is still missing several towers. Looking at the map I would say it's about 70 percent completed. Pretty soon we're going to need to find something new to b**** and moan about. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
4. I'm still keeping an eye on the map for certain areas in Guaynabo to get completed. They're rollout speed has definitely slowed down. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

7. That's basically the same offer you get at sprint. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
8. I thought that on CDMA you only connected to one tower at a time. I guess that does not apply to Lte? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
9. I may have asked this already. Any android app that will show you on a map which cell tower you added connected to? I have tried several that are supposed to do this but none seem very accurate if they work at all. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
10. Why is the nv upgrade giving us better coverage? To me it makes no sense. Better antenas? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
11. Is not being deployed us either just yet. If they have licenses available what makes us so certain? Given the cement in pr, sprint must know it is important. They seem to be taking pr seriously. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
12. I just hope they implement some 800mhz love in Puerto rico. If the system is smart I would assume it would only give the user that lower frequency when needed. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
13. Why would we like to see it deployed down here? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
14.

Given how good sprints signal has gotten in the metro area, I suspect they had many towers down prior to the nv upgrade. Maybe they were putting off doing repairs since the overhaul was about to happen and they were falling back on roaming agreements
15. I played with them several years back it was not bad but I remember on a trip to ponce I was on 2g after cayey. That was not what they advertised on their coverage map. Who knows maybe a glitch that day. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
16.

megabytes,

What is your opinion of T-Mobile
17. All this makes sense. Does double the mhz mean double the data handling capacity? I wish we could see tower maps for att and the other carriers to see how committed each is to this market. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
18. Saw something like this on the highway and had no LTE when I checked. Having said that tower completion is still moving along nicely in the metro area. I get the feeling that the number of crews has been reduced recently. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
19. I have not seen LTE speeds on att that I would describe as bad. I do agree that they are more congested but even in those cases I can still get a reasonable speed test. The worst att offers is still better then sprint 3g speeds. What amazes me in recent testing is that sprint really does have good coverage. In some cases better then att. The cases at the margin like deep in a building in Santurce or in the back of supermarket X Att seems to always work while sprint is a wild card. Is this because they have more towers or is it the lower frequency of att? My gut is that it is a frequency issue. Out off curiosity when and where have your seen att speeds collapse because of congestion? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
20. I'm currently on AT&T but playing with a one on sprint thinking of doing the switch. So far I am impressed with sprint. I don't know if these speeds will be maintained as more users come online but coverage on Sprint is not significantly worse then AT&T. At least not in the metro area. I know in the mountains it's another story and when I ride my motorcycle on the weekends I may be disappointed. We shall see. Nothing suck more then not having a signal when you really need one. 23. It's my understanding sprint upgraded all their towers but they are not investing in any new locations. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2
24. It's fast, feels solid and looks great. I'm trying it out for two weeks. If it works out I'm back to sprint. I need to make sure there are no dead spots in the places I most frequent. So far AT&T is not much better in coverage. I know they have more towers but something tells me that in the metro are it is equivalent. Sprint need to get the remaining 4g towers done in San Juan.
