    No kidding! I can see Pandora, and YouTube, and a like. Tethering I can even understand to a point. That's what half of this smart phone stuff is all about. The Carriers know it and if there was an issue, they should stop allowing them on their network and/or block the apps. (and they do the tethering apps) But, Torrents over your phone via 3G or LTE/WiMax is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Only a matter of time before your no longer with Sprint.

    I use GoGo. I fly American and it's on most of the flights I'm on. You can sometimes get codes off the web for free use. I then use google talk to chat or play my silly games. Now that American is outsourcing all they're wide body maintenance to china. 1. My old mans is forced to retire early so I can't fly anytime I want any more. :-( 2. Not sure I wanna fly on airplanes service by someone that's not regulated by the FAA, not that all flights use a wide body plane but the Company has proven to be garbage and I wouldn't give them any money anymore. Hope my new airline has GoGo.

    Speaking of multi-view... Is there a way to add apps to the multi-view side bar, or are we limited to just the ones Samsung has put there? I see the EDIT button. But only allows me to remove the ones there, not add any new apps. I don't really need the list of apps there used in tandem with each other, but rather those apps in tandem with apps not shown.     There is a single simple mod to do this with out a Custom Rom.

    as long as you delete the *.odex files and clear your dalvik cache there is no need to be De-odexed either. Keeping the Stock/more likely to be stable when you need it Rom in tacked. lol

    OK, now if your looking to just say you have Wifi there and not be able to use it. All you need is a well placed Cisco router. That should be enough to see it.

     

    If you wanna use the network... Everything digiblur told you is really the only way. I use a long distance network between my dads house and mine (1000ft LOS). Been through it all on this little hobby. I will never trade my wrt54gs', but they or anything like it, will never cut it. Don't waste a dime until your ready to do it right, it will cost you more and piss you off. You can't use a repeater but for little stuff unless you fork out the money for a high power dual band repeater. Loco M5, simple all in one, 5Ghz, POE. Hell of a price. I have $600 into mine. @2000ft do it right.

    You have cameras... lol I have 8. I just made a sub domain for my site that connects to them. pull them up on my Note 2 anytime. I tell you what, that's another thing this phone is awesome for.

    Lol.. You sound like me. No repeaters though as I do not believe in them. Ubiquiti power apn access point with higher gain antennas. I was trying to get coverage all over my yard and ended up with covering about to 4 to 5 times that and that's not even with cranking it to 1000mw.

     

    Is it bad if your insides start to tickle when you walk next to the access point? Just kidding.

     

    Then throwing an Airave in the mix probably doesn't help as the phone can't figure out which network to use.

    I use one repeater to supply Internet to my garage, it also gives a guest access for customers that like to hang out. But my router at 600 is a lot, could only imagine 1 watt. I use a 600mW AP to my dads house, where he has the same. Directional Antennas and our network is one. His house is almost 1000ft away. Makes for sharing movies and what not easy. Lol.

     

    Also blankets half my neighborhood and the Shopping Center with an SSID of my choosing. lmao!!

    I just ordered a GS 3 online at Best Buy. People at the store told me the GS 3 would only be available in stores for $48, but it was online as well today. The usual 30 day return policy has been extended to Jan 24, '13, so I've got 60 days to find a great deal on the GN 2 before I decide to keep the GS 3. No lines for me, I'm a happy camper!

     

    Man, I'd be all over the GN2. Night and Day difference. ;-) There will be a price drop soon.
