2, 3 and 5 can be done with 3rd party software, effectively (without root) but every other reason is a great on. I still haven't rooted mine yet.

    True, but....

Themes using a 3rd party software burns resources and battery and I can theme more than an app can.

Sms backup wasn't alway available without root. But it's cool that there is one. I personally like the developer and support his work of the one I use. So I haven't played with other yet.

I don't know of a good app that will record worth a crap and if you know of that works as well as the built in recorder then share! Lol

  2. Pics would be great. It would allow us to confirm NV activity. Photos of the base station equipment and panels, if possible.

I was thinking the one tower looks like ATT. Seemed like it only have 1 RRU. This is my neck of the woods. I'll be there in 2 weeks. You know I'll be all over it. lol Hope its true tho. That would be awesome!!

  3. Messing around, I removed it from my note 2 and it helped the life of the already crazy life of the note 2. Simply turning it off will do nothing for you. But it showed to help being removed. It's part of the system tho and cause issues once in a while so it's not recommended and I didn't care to bother fully removing it.

  4. I'm not that old but I do remember when AOL charged by the minute (Also when there was no online and my 80286 was top of the line with its 40 meg hard drive and 1 meg ram)

15... Was Aug 1998. I had better thing to do than the computer, plus there was Nintendo. I think we just Got the N64 about then. 16, its was all about my truck and it was about then my love for electronics started. I had computer classes in School with access to the internet. So I would say 17 years old before I was truly at it on the Web. Almost 13 years ago. 400Kbps was so awesome!

  5. Tolerated, but not liked.

But your advertising for them in a way. Based on the sites morals, nothing but positive can come of this site. Would think that most of any users after a few minute on here, leave more of a believer and more loyal to Sprint. How do you know its not liked?

  6. What? You mean like it was all a dream? S4GRU never existed, and everyone here was actually a VZW sub in real life?

No, as in NV is getting on it's way and that this site is made just for it, and will weaken like any other site that's aimed at one reason. Example would be a site for the Olympics. They rocked and stayed very busy, until the day after and now they're ghost towns. The last chapters are coming, coming up on the last episode. But then he says... there's more, new stuff, we're heading in a new direction. "Stay tuned". Leaving all the users wondering and shaking their tails in excitement. Wanting more but their just going to have to wait.... That's what I meant. Lol

As long as it's not like breaking bad... I can't wait till summer, but then I know it's the last of the show so that sucks!

  7. We will probably come up with a transition plan to something beyond the Network Vision deployment in the next few months. Stay tuned.

I read this and got this feeling like you get at the end of a really good TV show's last Episode of the season.

I called twice and asked for my MSL. I don't know if I have terrible luck, or if it really isn't as simple as people make it out to be.

It is much more simple for me to use CDMA Workshop

Odd, so... hears what I do. I call and I say I'm doing a full reset and switching phones and I need the msl code. Normally they hand it over just like that. Never questioned. But, if not then I'll say the rep from the store told me how and what I needed but he never gave me a code. But really, your all probably right, easier to get it on your own.

  9. Having a small tethering data allotment of less than 1 GB per month would be an elegant solution for Sprint to include in plans. However, adding a hotspot as needed and taking it off when done is a very cheap option I employ every so often.

If I could do this without a phone call and them just logging the usage as I use it. I would never use a 3rd party tethering. I tether maybe every couple months. Might use 10MB. Even less with the note now. But its still a pain to call Sprint to turn on and off, and for as little I use it, I don't feel bad about using an app. But, for the others who go nuts, damn them.
