  1. Did the rep provide you with a confirmation number? If yes, go to sprint.com/myorder and enter your confirmation # it should start with DM14-

Order information will populate, check the SKU that appears and compare with the info in this thread. If it matches to the correct SIM info we provided then you are good to go.

    This is all it shows:

  2. I noticed that as well, I will be very interested to see what happens tomorrow. Unfortuantely, I will be in town for work, then have a crazy busy evening with the family. I won't get to test it until after all the kids stuff is done and they are in bed.

Do i have to give them either of those numbers when ordering over the phone?

  3.

Wow, a lot has happened since Saturday morning. I worked with Exec support via Twitter most of Saturday, into the evening. About 9pm, they finally figured out that the recommended SIM is SKU CZ4114LWC, unfortunately, I was engrossed in the MSU-Oregon game so I didn't see the message until about 10p. I worked with them again Sunday morning and they are shipping the SIM to me. UPS has already scheduled the delivery for tomorrow.

I'm loving the device via Wifi, i think I'll love it even more as a phone.

Sucks what has been discovered regarding the engineering screens. What was done to get that resolved on the Moto X 2013?

Interesting. A couple pages back someone posted that the correct Sim is CZ2114LWC. Now its CZ4114LWC? All that changes is one digit from 2 to 4

  4. The SIM item number has been confirmed a page or two back.

You're asking the thread participants to confirm what a customer service rep is going to tell you?

Ask a good question like, What will the next powerball numbers be.

Seriously though, give them a call and see. We aren't talking life and death stuff here.

Personally I think Sprint deserves a LITTLE slack here. It's not like they have extensive familiarity with carrier unlocked phones.

Patience, I believe, will pay soon™.

    Lol thanks...

  5. So one of the sore spots in Weston might finally be getting filled in. This tower had been 3g upgraded for about a year, and really makes a nice size LTE hole. All this time I thought it was just waiting on backhaul.. Turns out they are replacing the tower all together! Hopefully things will move quickly once it's up.

  6. No that was not an auto correct. I'm still connected to Clearwater B41 or sprint b25,b26 but when he changed the msid # my speed came back. Idk if it fixed my texts or calls yet. Also hes sending me a new note 4 due to my battery drain issues yaa...

I think you mean to write Clearwire* not Clearwater ????????

  7. I highly doubt the change in speed was from changing devices. I would expect should you return to the Note 3, you would see worse service than you are seeing now with the Note 4. The change is most likely explained by an increase in load on the network.

Do you know if you are connecting to Clearwire B41 or Sprint B41? SCP will tell you, and that will help in diagnosing the problem. Also, B41 may not be coming from the site closest to you. Your device will try to hang onto any B41 signal it can, even if a B25 or B26 signal might be better suited for your current situation.

Whats the diff between clear b41 and Sprint b41??

  8. Note 3 is a single band device that is not capable of delivering over 37.5mbs a second, so when you did see 50mbs+ it was probably giving you a false positive.

From the screenshot you posted, your on band 26 (which is mostly for coverage, and not speed) I can see you are at near the edge of service coverage. But regardless, if your getting between 4-10mbs, that is perfectly fine for almost everything!

Its hard to see a single band device like the note 3 achieving over 20mbs+ on Band 25 with that signal. But some users have been in situations where the phone prefers band 26 over band 25 and band 25 is less congested.

The nice thing about having a triband device is that your not limited to just that single band, you can actually disable band 26 and most likely idle on band 25. Even though I don't recommend doing that, it can help speed things up for you in that one location.

But regardless, if your not happy with 4-10mbs, I think you need to move on to some other wireless carrier that will offer those speeds your looking for.

When she said 50-59 two times in the last 13 months, she meant on her Note 4...not Note 3. I see where it can be misread tho.

  9. Signal strength only matters to speed when the site is under capacity. If it is over capacity, it doesn't matter how strong the signal is. It's kind of like a freeway, with inner fast lanes (strong signal) and outer slow lanes (weaker signal). If the freeway has a 75 MPH speed limit, it doesn't matter when there's so much traffic that you can only drive 20 MPH in the fast lane. The whole freeway is moving 20 MPH. Once traffic clears, then the faster lanes (strong signal) can move faster than the slow lanes (weak signal).

In wireless, if there is zero other traffic, then the perfect signal in this instance maxes out at 37.5Mbps, and we will say the weakest signal is only capable of 1Mbps. However, if there is so much traffic that each user can only muster 2Mbps of the total throughput, then all users will be limited to ~2Mbps, except those with the weakest signal which will still just be 1Mbps, or less.

So the throughput speed your device experiences is first most impacted by capacity, then signal strength. It is possible to have a perfect LTE signal and have virtually no data throughput at all. I have this happen to me in Denver on AT&T at least once every trip.

B25 on Sprint in this market is 5x5. Only 37.5Mbps throughput. That means everyone on that sector is sharing one 37.5Mbps connection to the internet. It doesn't have to be very dense. You can have just a few heavy users, and bam, you're down to that speed.

If you find that B25 works well on most sites in the area, but just not this one, it is possible that there is a problem with the site. Either way, I'd report it to Sprint. Tell them it is consistently slow. Get a ticket opened up for it. Insist on a ticket number. And write it down. Also, report it in the Sprint Zone app every week or two. If they close the ticket number in a few weeks and it doesn't improve, open one again. If you have multiple lines, report from theirs to Sprint Zone app too. And maybe if you have friends on Sprint also on that tower.

The more reports they get, the more likely it will appear urgent and they will do something about it. Because if it is just a site hardware or configuration problem, this will get them to take care of it. If it's just over capacity, this will increase the chances of getting your site moved up the priority list for upgrades.

    Thanks for the reply ????????

  10. Yeah, it's simple. The site is busy. 2.5Mbps is not horrible for B25 in an urban/suburban area during the day. It's normal. B25 speeds are mediocre until there is ample B41 and/or additional B25 LTE carriers are added. At sites with just one B25 LTE carrier or one B25/26 combo, you shouldn't expect much. It will get better as other bands get added to the area. Your area may need more density too.

I see....but this exact area isn't even that dense. It also is like this at any given time through the day that i pass by here. I would understand with a way weaker signal but not like the one i showed...
