I think so, but its pretty late and saturday to be doing that....anyways I cant complain, because I think i am on one of the few places that are having such a great 3G speeds improvement, close to 2MBps anywhere in my city and constantly for 10 days already..Today I went to downtown LA,ohh man, speeds sucked there.
-
Right now..The outages(data connection lost) are too often, cant even check my face.......and switching between eHPRD and 1xRTT.Almost 20 mins in this situation.
-
Getting the lowest Pings today and speeds keep going up.up and up..I ve streaming Pandora all day with not even one stop...great.

Right now i am in west hollywood and the voice coverage 1x has the 6 bars..well i am practically on downtown..santa monica and in glendale works fine voice and data is better than ever.I can say that West Hollywood voice coverage has become much more spotty in the last three months or so, and there are even some new dead spots that used to not exist.

Glendale 9 days getting these speeds...ohh yeah..I guess LTE is gonna be like a thunder.

Yeah. I called costumer service today, because my data connection was constantly going off and then back again and he told me they have been doing that for 3 days testing something, and he told me thats NV updates,LTE is around the corner.Well if you go to the list of cities, it says Los Angeles-Long Beach-Glendale. So definitely Glendale is gonna inaugurate LTE in LA.I think you may be right on that if you're getting those speeds. I live in east LA near downtown. The best I can get it is 1mb if I'm lucky but average is around 200-400kbps. I was in Glendale yesterday near the I5 and when I tried to do the speedtest that's when I started having the network issues

but all around Glendale I've been getting those speeds.I think Glendale is gonna be one of the first to go live.
-
Yes pretty much...i am less than a mile from an updated tower.is that consistently?
-
always between 1.3 and 1.5 down and around 0.90 upWhat are your speeds in glendale like?
-
I just Talked with a Sprint costumer service person, and he told me before the end of october we will be getting some LTE signals and that in glendale(where I live) it will be pretty much covered and he also told me something about West Hollywood I couldnt understand,if he was saying that west hollywood and that zone will be the first to go live.

yeah me too...there was this day it was like constantly getting and losing the 3g connection .keeps doing it every single day but less now.has anything gotten dropped data service since 10/3/12? I kept losing 3g service in the LA Metro area namely near downtown.? I called customer service to see what's the deal and she said that they are doing network upgrades all over the city for lte service. I know this doesn't mean much but she said we should have 4g lte before the end of the month. Anyways let me know if you guys are having spotty internet service more than the usual.

That sounds so good..praying for that
-
Yeah I,ve gotten pretty good 3G speeds in Pasadena, not as good as here in Glendale, but they are fine.
-
High speeds constantly here in Glendale

On the markets list says launch date october for LA market..hope thatI can't wait for lte to go live =( I'm getting ehrpd now speeds seem to be going up and down a lot lately. This morning i got .90 on the down speed which is really high for me on 3g.. Robert what would your best guess be for la metro going live? or even just testing?

I got it for like 5 days and then back to evdo and since yesterday i am getting it againI get ehrpd the majority of the time in SGV & Burbank/Pasadena area now. Looks like Sprint is upgrading & enabling clusters of towers here.

I have a download, but i think is not working..where did u get yours??After you download it, place it on your external SD card. Then power off your device. Hold down the Power + Volume Up + Home button at the same time. It will then boot up into Android System Recovery. Press the Volume Down button until it highlights the "apply update from external storage" and press the Power button to select it. Now scroll down with your Volume down button to highlight the downloaded file. Press the Power button to select the update file once it is highlighted.
It will take a couple of minutes to install. And voila!
This update should only be applied to non rooted GS3's.
