Well, no lte in Joliet yet, but am seeing eHRPD for the first time. The field test app shows between -79 and -89 for signal. Shows NID 123 BID 11059

Did not know about the debug menu until after the lte went away. Through the about menu under settings it was saying -105 rsrp and -8rsrq. If, nay, when it comes back, I'll try the debug menu. Thanks as usual for the hard work.....

That will be great. Hoping to get better coverage soon after. Was only getting lte on the second floor of my house and speeds were never as good as others here have posed about.

I had been getting the lte signal in the Joliet area, but as of late nothing. Evdo only. You lake county folk enjoy it, I was.

I've been seeing it on the I88 corridor. Don't get it in carol stream area or Joliet

I just assumed that because I'm in a rural area towers would be sparse so it'd be the same tower for all

I don't know what the effective range of a tower is, but when on 3g the tower is about 2 miles as the crow flies. I haven't found a program that can find my tower when getting lte, though I would guess it's the same tower

Sent you a message. Lte works only on the second floor of my house. Switch back to 3g on the main floor or outside

I am getting a pretty constant lte signal in my house but have never seen the connection to ehrpd. On 3g it's always evdo or 1x

It seems I'm getting 4g in spurts in the Plainfield/Joliet area. The speeds are not amazing, but it is a start. Kind of strange in that I thought I would see the ehrp before lte. RSRP -106 RSRQ -8 Don't know if that's good or bad, but that's the setting that was getting the higher speed test results.
