Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or any other carrier that sells SIM cards can be used with this phone."

 

We now know the Pure Edition supports Sprint's Network by the revised spec sheet, but why not mention the carrier by name?

It is all about the "whitelist".  I wish it was easier to bring a device to Sprint.

I don't know if a Fortune.com article can be believed.  If this is true, I don't think it is good news for Sprint users.

Durand? Seems like an odd spot to put Band 41 equipment. I'm guessing this was planned before Marcelo's new marching orders to prioritize high traffic locations? Or are highways part of the high priority for Band 41? 

The equipment has been on the tower since the end of May/beginning of June so it was before the new marching orders.  

The 8T8R equipment on I-69 west of Durand went live sometime this week.   I about drove off the road this morning when I saw Band 41 on the engineering screen.
