  1. SwiftKey is available and actually use it as my main keyboard. It works very while it sometimes does crash in certain apps which is usually fixed by restarting the app itself. There are a lot of themes and the swiping feature works very well. The only thing is ik it's like $2 on iOS. Yep apart of being on iOS is paying for the nicer things lol.

don't ever feel sad about paying for apps. The Developers need to eat as well.....The best apps will be paid apps as the developer is making money (becoming a side job) and can devote time in keeping his app running well...:)

  2. If you have a Apple OEM 10 or 12 Watt iPad charger you can use it as you iPhone 7 plus charger and it will charge at the 10 watt rate (much faster)

Apple builds the 10 watt charger circuitry into the plus models you just need the bigger Apple built iPad charger to activate it!

I use it every day with my iPhone 6 Plus and now my 7 plus and it is wonderful!

Perfectly safe and designed by Apple to function.

Ps. Your iPhone will query the USB ID of the cable and charger so it needs to be OEM Apple lighting or Apple MFi program certified to work. The charger as well......this is a good thing as it keeps your phone from becoming a bomb!

my iPhone 7 plus charges so fast its blinding....

if you have a 12.9 ipad pro you can use the new MacBook charger to charge the 12.9 pro and it is blinding fast!

Apple has a BAD habit of keep these things too quiet! I am a registered developer so I get this from their forums....

  3. After using the iPhone Plus for a few days, these are a couple things I noticed.

This phone is quite heavy. It does feel very high quality.

Battery life is really amazing. Way better than the Nexus 6p. But it takes a long time

  4. I am debating about getting an apple watch. Most likely when the 2nd Gen comes out. I have a fitbit charge hr but unfortunately, I am one of the few people that gets a skin abrasion or little rash from the bands. I will have to look up the material to see if the apple watch will cause the same discomfort.

The nice thing is the Apple Watch comes in many configurations. I own one and really enjoy it.

  5. FYI: iOS 9 Developer Beta 4 dropped this afternoon. I waited to get some depth before jumping into the pool.

my iPhone 6 Plus is on my iMac doing a full encrypted restore.

I will post the Carrier Bundle once the restore is finished. it needs to chug through 128 GIGS so it will be some time. :)

    The Carrier Bundle is: 20.6.13

  7. Before I take the plunge, can I easily downgrade back to 8.4 if I don't like it, or if I have problems?

make sure you do a full encrypted backup of your phone first. If you have an Apple Watch unpair it! (forces an watch backup to the phone). follow the procedures on the public beta website!

Now if you decide to return to 8.4 you need to do an DFU restore. try to make the decision to fall back sooner then later as you will only restore to that backup you did before and everything you have on the phone (messages...) will be from the backup only.

  8. What is the advantage in having this Apple watch when your phone does the same thing (mostly)? A cell phone on my wrist? Just doesn't seem like something I would ever even at all want, let alone need. But...I'm open to being wrong. I'm curious..do you really find it useful? Do you enjoy it? I wanna know!

    This is the 100,000.00 question!

I am a developer so I wanted one to deploy and test apps on it! Right now it is a quick and easy way to access the quick information that you might not want to pull out a really big phone to see. It is more discreet as people are offended when you pay attention to your phone a quick glance to the watch is much easier to palate for some people.

the killer app on the Apple Watch for people with older phones as the watch gives you Apple Pay.

  9. I don't have one but I'm seriously considering getting one. I messed with one at the Apple store yesterday and really liked it. What do you think of yours?

    -Anthony

I just received mine last Wednesday. I have a sport model that I put in a lunaTik case and band combo (no one knows its an Apple Watch)!

I am really liking it I think that Apple Pay on a watch is a Killer feature! The App loading time has improved with the new firmware 1.0.1. I am finding quite a few of the apps I use have cool Watch Apps!

  10. I think I read that the fix is to disable message notifications. I had two friends send it to me while I was sleeping (and I sleep with 'do not disturb' on) so I don't know if it crashed the phone. I asked him to send it again to see if it works, and it did. I was in the open message, by the way. It was instant apple logo.

I am still HOPING that my friends don't send that to me! I am one on the few with an Apple Watch and word is it trashes the Watches!

    AHHHHHHH!

  11. I'm a daily watch wearer, and you can definitely tell which of my watches have a sapphire dome - right off the bat, that would disqualify me from buying a sport model.

My hope now is that my company buys one for me to figure out what's possible from an app design standpoint. I'll gladly take a free sport watch if they'd foot the bill!

even when you or the company desides to purchase one they are very hard to find. the 38mm models are slightly easier to obtain. i believe July is the time being quoted on line if you order now.

you could fly out to LA rent a room for 5 to 10 days go preorder at Maxfields then hope they get what you want in the allotted time if not Maxfields keeps the monies (store credit). they will not ship out nor will they take orders from afar.

great system apple built for this rollout!

  12. Did anyone buy an Apple Watch? I got to play around with a co-worker's yesterday and suddenly really want one.

Here are some of the issues I have been reading about. I do not have one Yet.

The Sport Models are made with ION X Glass screens (the same stuff on the iPhone 6/6P the BIG difference here is the screen bubbles forward so IMHO we are going to see a bunch of scratched screen on the sport models soon!

The regular Apple Watches are extreamly difficult to find. Apple deems it correct to have only one Brick and Mortar store in the US to be able purchase them from (store to the stars in LA) and the Russian Mob has been pushing their way to the front to purchase what they can.

It seems that Apple has desided to push aside their normal customers and market this device as jewelry and to give away many watches to A & B list stars and to sell what they can to the stars in LA ( Maxfields )

  13. Good Evening,

Being a SERO plan holder I have always tried to work with Employee Services and did not normally visit the brick and mortar stores.

I noticed today trying to find a Sprint Corporate Owned Store there is about 7 stores now in the Chicago area.

    What Happened?
