The wait is over. B25 10x10 is live.

The worst part is that before the Manhattan densification, most NYC users here claimed Sprint was already good. A lot of them were the first to defend the propagation issues B41 faces by using Manhattan as an example.
So why spend resources in a market that didn't really need it? San Diego or San Francisco could have used those resources over Manhattan right off the top of my head. Those markets are terrible Sprint markets.
It's just another questionable move by KC HQ. If Son ends up buying T-Mobile, he needs to pull out of KC and just stick with the Seattle HQ.
Sprint could do in San Diego like what they did in Las Vegas with B41. We are on 2x B25 and swiss cheese B41. Probably one of the worse markets today. It's already 2017 and LTE speedso are getting worse. Still too many indoor coverage on 3G. Luckily places where I work and play have good coverage.

Band 25 2nd carrier is live and well in Chula Vista. Wish it was live in Pahrump, it would sure speed the network up there.

2nd carrier has been live since early last year. waiting on the B25 10x10 B41 is like swiss cheese in San Diego. Soon.

In terms of routers + Mesh, I think AmpliFi is the best looking so far and reviews well, has good performance. Made by Ubiquiti. The Portal is huge and if it had a bit of a yellow hue to it, it would look like a device straight from the 90s, lol.
ApliFi we tested at a client's mansion, no good. Great for small house.

You may be surprised. I find my first macro 2.5 permit just this week after more than a year of nothing.

I check it weekly, waiting and waiting.

Will we see this in San Diego?
-
Ya I agree. For some reason, it seems like SoCal is being neglected in the sprint network upgrades

I second that. No new upgrades since early 2016 in San Diego. Permits been dead.

Interesting. Thanks!

It looks like the requirements for this round are met https://auctiondata.fcc.gov/public/projects/1000
It's already at 18 Billion. Maybe it will heat up.

Samsung ending beta program. I thought they beta test 7.1 before releasing it next month. But oh well.

Is it possible we get beta from 3rd party sites?

It's a Galaxy S7 on the last nougat beta.

How did you get on the beta?

True.... I'm excited and I can't wait until the AMA session this Friday. Hopefully Sprint exceeds expectations with the small cell rollout in 2017.
On top of that, add 8T8R on all sites. In San Diego market, maybe 40% completed. Many areas with only 2xB25 and that's it. Imagine that.

52 week high @ 8.73. Hold?
-
$8 this morning. Time to sell or hold?
-
Too much speculation! I just sold another piece of Sprint @ $7.51
Another 52 week high @ 7.71. Tempting to unload some shares.

Sprint stock rally from Trump election is a bit too thin hype for me. I just sold off 25% of my Sprint position at $7.28, offloading way more shares than I bought last week.
Also, we are already seeing interest rates (bonds) jump significantly the past two days. If the Fed increases rates next month along with Trump's anti-Fed rhetoric-backed policies, it will be much harder for debt-straddled companies like Sprint to refinance.
52 week high today @ $7.50.

I have now made a Sprint purchase at $5.90
You sure made money in 1 week. Over $7 this morning if you going to sell.
-
Sprint is trading over $7. who bought it at $6? I guess good news for merger?

I've noticed 3 small cells locally off the east end of Scripps Poway... I've searched and searched and found similar ones used on a Verizon build in San Fran by Extenet. Any one know for sure?

Mostly Verizon. Have seen hundreds of these near the beaches and south San Diego.

Sprint (S) closed today at $6.36 today. If it drops closer to $6 or less, I will buy again.
It's near $6 this morning.

System Update on my S7 Edge!
I have noticed my S7E hangs on B41 a bit better. Places I dropped to B25 now hangs on B41 in the -120s RSRP

Sprint stocks taking a hit.

Ive seen smaller markets with band 41. I don't know what Sprints game plan is but the Jacksonville/st augustine/Ocala/Gainesville/Tallahassee/Lake City market on a whole is clearly low priority for some reason.
It is probably due to funding. We haven't seen much activities in San Diego this entire year too. I can say 30%-40% I am on B41.
