Nothing about that article is true. Sprint is not moving any of their towers.

iWireless roams on T-Mobile LTE for free and adheres to whatever plan you have. I don't know that T-Mobile customers can roam on iWireless LTE though. one of my coworkers has T-Mobile and i checked his phone yesterday and he was connected to W-CDMA according to signal check pro yet we have a closer iWireless tower than a T-Mobile tower. i believe he has a galaxy S4 so not sure if that was the issue or if T-Mobile just can't get on iWireless LTE.
USCC thinks they are AT&T or Verizon and so they are way too expensive and don't have an unlimited option.
USCC is actually cheaper than vzw. Thats why sprint LTE roams on to vs 1x roaming on vzw. There were once reports Tmobile could also roam onto US Cellular.

What does CDMA have to do with it when VoLTE comes into play? Who's Sprint going to use when Verizon shuts off CDMA voice in the future?
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Sprint phones have some GSM in them. so CDMA has nothing to do with it. I already said roaming onto VZW will never happen.

Does anyone know if Sprint will ever share or roam on T-Mobile's or AT&T's 700 MHz? I thought the FCC mandated roaming abilities on the 700 band?
Sprint does Roam onto US CELLULAR LTE which I believe uses band 12. Tmobile coverage is close to Sprint So Sprint wouldnt do much roaming onto them .Yes their are spots where Tmobile covers that sprint does not but, its small. I wish sprint could get their hands on their Native 700 mhz. Can say for sure no LTE on VZW. Also Theres no band 17 support on Sprint phones only band 2,4,5,12.

Atleast Seattle has 10X10 on band 25 and, im sure a good amount of band 41.
-
I think Sprint should go after band 14. They it more than anyone.

Do you know what band number it was?In Princeton WI getting LTE roaming.

Samsung phones and, iPhone will show Bandwidth. *#0011# on samsung and, fieldtest for phone. You can Google the code for that.Looks like I found a new one: 8071/26071. Site near my parents' place (outside Fredericksburg, TX). Which puts it as close to the bottom of PCS A as we've seen so far.
As I recall, the actual transmission path on 5x5 LTE is 4.5 MHz wide, so with a center frequency 3.1 MHz above the bottom of the band you end up with 0.85 MHz of guard band going on, or 0.6 MHz if you do your guard band based on a 5 MHz channel width. Conservative, maybe, but they've got 15x15 here to play with on a rural site so aggressive spacing doesn't really need to happen.
Service is plenty speedy, though it looks like that's partially because PCS-G takes priority when its signal is good...was hard for me to grab PCS-A outdoors as my phone would go to G or B41 (!!!). This is by all indications a 5x5 deployment.

Will be interesting to see what Dish does with all their Spectrum.

Any AWS-3 licensee will have to use band 66. So, yes, that will include both VZW and T-Mobile. Band 4 likely will live on in MFBI form.
AJ
Is AWS-3 band 66 the same ones that att,vzw and, Tmobile also bought this year?

Is there a time table set for the current Clearwire LTE sites to be taken down and replaced by Sprint build sites?
Sometime in 2016 I think. A small amount have already been. I live in Minnesota and, The Mall Of America used to be Clearwire and, couple of months ago they were Sprint.

Best thing to do is have anyone with Sprint to keep using the Sprintzone app to report not getting service. The more that report there higher the changes a new tower goes upHa I keep trying Sprint in my area but its only been decent in the city and larger township. I live in a smaller one JUST outside lte. T-Mobile oddly seems to launch everything here first. We have lte on band 2,4, and 12. Hopefully, Sprint is next! I need more bandwidth [emoji14]

It was AT&Ts.

Thought so. It failed to connect cause, sprint doesnt have a roaming agree with at&t. Just like Sprint doesnt LTE roam onto Vzw.

I was in an area where B5 LTE was the only available LTE network and my Nexus attached to it for a few seconds, but failed authentication. Never happened again since. It dropped back down to eHRPD.

Wonder whos band 5 it was.

Next Time this happens could you post a screenshot on here?
-
Yes Verzion is band 13. Thats 700mhz.

Sprint needs to do a better job optimizing band 26. There are alot of places where it doesn't connect to it or hold onto it very long compared to b25 and, b41.Band 26 800mhz doesn't work well for me unless I get a really good signal. Band 25 and 41 works good
Band 41 downtown morgantown
I live downtown Morgantown (High St.) I'm so excited to go back for B41 [emoji33]

I'd assume that if Sprint adds USCC LTE roaming that the data cap will still be very low. So now you can blow through the 100MB quicker!
sprint roaming limits will only change if they can ever drop VZW wireless for roaming. can't say 100mb on vzw but, 400mb on uscc.
-
I just Centurylink and, anyone that drags their feet like on sprint current towers will not be a part of these new sites. I also hope sprint will be able to lease 600mhz in the future when that time comes for when that could be deployed. att will spend 10 billion dollars for that FYI.
-
For USCC Roaming onto Sprint LTE. Isnt it only band 25 USCC website shows what bands their phones have on them and, its just band 25. Accept for nexus 6 or newer and, then iphones.

How about this performance [emoji4]
Got this near Twinsburg/Solon area with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ while driving down Interstate 480. I'm beyond satisfied.

Band 41 I take it. Cleveland and, columbus both have 10X10 on Band 25.

Is the 2nd carrier new to your area? Your phone can pick up ever carrier Sprint turns on. Even the 3rd carrier when they start rolling that out sometime the first half of 2016.Yah, my Nexus 5 on Freedompop (secondary phone) also picked up B41(2) today..

Even if sprint wasnt going to. It will still work on Sprint. Sprint is one of the carriers that the Apple sim supports.

I found another clearwire siteMike, I have a 1X/LTE issue of not updating the GCI, PCI and TAC that could be because of an IF/CASE with CDMA.
I have notice on my Nexus 5X that if the phone shows 1X and LTE SCP does not show valid PCI and TAC it also does not show the GCI but Phone info and CellMapper app does show valid info.
If you can get SCP to show all LTE info with 1X the Neighbor cell and Site Notes may work.
