  1. If my company wants me to open files while I'm driving down the road in a conference call then they better damn well find someone stupid enough to do it cause I'm not doing that. Otherwise I'm at an airport or motel with WiFi available making the SvLTE a moot point.
  2. That's cool. I think there was a combo of 2nd carrier and stale Clearwire data in theengineering screen. Clearwire data I couldn't access before because I had a note 5 and it was a weak signal. Now with the G6 it seems like there are a few places I'm connecting to where I couldn't before.
  3. Sitting on the corner of SW Military and Commercial Ave, SCP is identifying a B25 with GCI ending 0B. Engineering screen shows band 0 for some reason and PCC and SCC1 showing as PCI 245. Speed test gave me a 25 down 3 up, this wasn't here 2 months ago.
  4. That seems like it. For a while it didn't seem like they were headed that way anymore. Maybe they still aren't.
  5. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7-vOBw3Q8N-T1BXZGowUUQ3WGM/view?usp=sharing I found that in the DATA screen for LTE. Doesn't seem to increase reception over the Note5. There is a stray B41 signal (-114 to -120 dBm) I would sometimes latch onto at home, but so far, nothing. I wonder if they really need to push an update? Since theorethically it shouldn't be in my hands yet.
  6. I don't believe you'll see better signal values per se, the towers aren't getting a power boost, it's the devices that are getting higher modulation power to push a clearer signal farther.
  7. That earfcn is indicative of the 3rd carrier being live. A GCI that puts out Sprint with no band indicator in SCP is likely a small cell or mini macro, based on other reports. Yes, Six Flags needs an upgrade. Last time I was there I could talk or text, but nothing else beyond that.
  8. I found this weird B41 signal in the Wal-Mart at Rigsby and 410 loop. Seems like a fairly recent change, I would only get B25 in this area before. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7-vOBw3Q8N-ZjFSZUNubjdKVXc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7-vOBw3Q8N-a3VjNkRiTEg1clE/view?usp=sharing I didn't check outside though.
  9. A lot of those clear sites are becoming obsolete very fast. Hit some with very slow connections in the middle of downtown, it would be very easy to saturate those sites during an event. I don't know if they're able to do 4x2 or if they're only running 2x2. I got used to seeing single carrier clear sites running at 20 mbps in Denver, I'm dumbfounded that the clear sites here with 2 carriers timeout more frequently.
  10. Here are the 2nd and 3rd carrier aggregated. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7-vOBw3Q8N-SVdfVkktODBReVE/view?usp=sharing
  11. I finally saw the 3rd carrier downtown today. That might be why you're noticing faster speeds. I'll post a screenshot when I'm home.
  12. I've had similar problems before, but they usually go away the next day. Have you tried changing servers for speedtests? For some reason the San Antonio Sprint server times out if I try to run speed test over the network.
  13. I think this would be better overall than merging with another wireless company. Spectrum just acquired TWC's cable division so they expanded their footprint, this might help Sprint with backhaul in a pretty good portion of the country, you just have to wonder how willing Spectrum would be to take on Sprint's debt. In return they gain a lot of potential, like being able to provide fixed wireless over B41 airwaves to rural areas where neither of them is yet present. Pure speculation though.
  14. I guess this goes along with the city's agreement in October with Mobilitie to provide permits for a build out in the right of way.
  15. I don't believe they were taken down, that Mesa permit doesn't show up on my search. I think there's a bug in the search results.
  16. I only see 5 permits from November until February. Could you send me a list of the permits you're seeing?
  17. What is the reason for Sprint requesting permits for microwave radios at existing sites? Will they be using this for backhaul to small cells or backhaul to the site? The address cited in the permit is 11920 IH 10 W. Couldn't really locate it in Google Maps so I'm not sure if this is a NV complete site, which should have fiber.
  18. 100-150 mw gain over B25 and B26 taking maximum into consideration. I want to get this smartphone.
  19. The last one is in RF Review, once that passes it should be good to go. We'll see how much of an impact this has.
  20. Considering there is no "in construction" status I would assume yes. I wonder if their stacking 5 sites so they can send a crew out there for a week and get those installs complete.
  21. That stealth site still only looks like B25. The permit says it's ready to issue and the permit for the one on Mesa and Shadow Mntn Dr was taken down.
  22. They need to upgrade backhaul in the same way you can upgrade bandwith tiers at your house. No additional fiber is required though.
