  1. Just my personal opinion is that since you should be eligible for an upgrade, I'd recommend that you get the M9 when it official goes on sale at Sprint. Last year, I upgraded from the M7 to the M8, and there was a big difference. Larger screen, and better performance. Personally, I'm not going to be upgrading this year, because the M9 is very similar to the M8. But, I was still on the M7, I would certainly upgrade to the M9.
  2. Robert, I completely agree with you! The IT services contracting company that I work at, uses the phrase "New Logo Acquisition" to mean that they has signed a services contact with a new corporate client. Personally, I find the use of the phrase very confusing, but that is how it is used.
  3. Question....is anyone else having a problem downloading the Visual Voicemail update? I get the following notification... But the update never downloads and never installs. A friend at work is looking for the APK so that I can update the Visual Voicemail app and finally get rid of the notification. Please note that I am rooted and S-Off, but I am on stock HTC Sense, and have stock recovery.
  4. Well in addition to my agreement with the comments AJ made, the other reason that I'm not interested in Google Hangouts, is that I'm not interested in the social networking aspects of Google Hangouts.
  5. I completely Agree! And, for all of the same reasons that you mentioned, I have not 'integrated' my Google Voice with Google Hangouts, and I won't do it anytime soon.
  6. Please forgive stupid question... (and I'm sure that it is answered somewhere earlier in this thread) But, why does Sprint, and others, use 'Off-Set' addresses? Is it so that the towers are more hidden from common folks?
  7. I've started picking up good signal in a lot of places. Especially strong in Reston VA (which makes sense considering that it used to be the home of Sprint) One odd thing that I have noticed, however, is that I seem to be on LTE 800 frequently. It's all good, it just seems odd that I don't seem to be connecting to the other bands as frequently.
  8. Yup...same here in the NoVA, DC area. For most of the last six months, just about everywhere I go, I'm on LTE. One odd thing that I have noticed, though, is that recently, I seem to be on LTE 800 a lot. It's all good, but it just seems odd.
  9. Just a quick question... If my Sprint HTC M8 were to be unlocked, would it work on a GSM network? As the image below shows, there seem to be Mobile Settings for GSM in addition to the CDMA and LTE.
  10. Of course, it would be T-Mobile, that would 'sick-the-dogs' on Sprint. Nothing but sour grapes from T-Mobile that Sprint's network is getting faster, and T-Mobile's is getting bogged down.
  11. Not sure if this has been posted yet... Sprint announces new $75 wireless plan offered exclusively through Best Buy http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-announces-new-75-wireless-plan-offered-exclusively-through-best-buy'
  12. Thanks for the link! I have always found it irritating that I don't get cell service in the Metro rail system. I always thought that Verizon phones got coverage in the Metro tunnels, but after reading the article, I guess not.
  13. Congratulations! [emoji106] [emoji120] [emoji2] Glad to hear that everyone is happy and healthy! [emoji106]
