  1. I will move also.   My decision will come once the merger is decided.  If approved, I will likely take one of the cheaper New T Mobile plans.
If Merger is rejected, I will probably have to go to an MVNO like Google  or Mint Mobile.    I have a 1 person plan (1 line) and there are no deals. Yes, I know places like Mint have $15 plans now...but I want to stay with a major carrier for international travel and for other personal reasons.     Family plans get all the deals.    I can't justify paying $71 / month with little under 1 gig of internet used each month.    I just bought out my phone (Samsung 9+ from Sprint) and it's now unlocked.    I'm just waiting for the decision.   I'm hoping it goes through, because I too, believe the combined network will be incredible and I would like to use T Mobile's home wireless video service once it gets off the ground.
    I hear you!

Right now I have two [emoji3577] lines on my plan, my father and I...I will be adding my wife to my plan either with Sprint/T-Mobile or one of the other two [emoji3577] carriers. So I will have 3 active lines of service, but I will have no choice but to actually have a 4 Line account since there are no such Family Plans with only 3 Lines.

Looking at all the plans with all of the carriers, I will actually pay less for Family Plan with 4 Lines then a plan with only 3 lines. The extra 4th line is a complete waste, but what can you do

  2. I honestly prefer the design of the app, I use it when shopping on my phone since a lot of apps have integrated Google Pay as a payment method, and it does a good job of storing tickets and pulling ticket confirmation information from my emails and storing them to find later. Also almost every store I go into has NFC set up now. The three big exceptions were CVS, Target, and Walmart. Both CVS and Target activated NFC within the past year and I shop at Walmart once or twice a year (literally) so I always have the Walmart app on my phone set up with Walmart Pay just in case.
Personally I refuse to use NFC payment apps because I personally don't trust the security.

That being said, a couple of weeks ago, I was kind of forced into opening the Google Pay app to download a copy of the concert tickets [emoji612] I had purchased from the Live Nation app.

When my wife and I got to the concert, I was very glad that I had been able to download copies of the tickets [emoji957] in the Google Pay app, since the Live Nation app wasn't showing all of the tickets [emoji957]

At least I find the Tickets [emoji957] Saving feature of Google Pay handy.

And before anyone says the obvious...I of course I know that sometime soon I will eventually have no choice but to get on board with Mobile [emoji336] Phone payment when that becomes the only method of payment.

But until then I personally prefer to use physical credit card [emoji388] and cash [emoji385]

Similarly, I still write [emoji404] checks to pay my credit card bills, and plan on continuing to do so until I am forced into online bill payments.

  3.   Verizon and AT&T are not happy about that announcement...    They were already attempting to up charge 5G.     Kinda reminds me of Sprint's "Premium Data" on smart phones.   The charge was argued to be helpful to build out the WiMax network and because smart phones used more data.   You see where that brought us...12 years later.... still leaves a bad taste in my mouth 12 years later.

On my current plan with Sprint, I am still being charged for Premium Data on my line with the S10+ [emoji336]

The only reason the other two [emoji3577] lines aren't being charged for Premium Data is that one of the lines is my Dad's old Flip phone and the other line is a Sprint Signal Booster.

  4. It's been my experience more often lately as well.   I can have 4 or even 5 bars and data is so slow or won't even connect, time out.      Congestion?   Not sure what the problem is??
I've been experiencing this problem myself frequently!
Have you been experiencing this indoors? Band 26 fills up quickly it seems, especially in high density indoor locations.
Personally I have noticed the problem both indoors and outdoors.
