EvanA I have already read that post and understand what's going on, but what I don't get is when or off the N5 will get a software update or if my towers will be updated and in what time frame? I waited 3 years for LTE and then we get it and I'm punished for having a new phone. Looks like IMA have to get a older lte phone that is not triband. Thanks so much everyone

Every once in a while if I switch the LTE(recommended) and global around and then do a prl update it will show LTE and then drop seconds or minutes after. I did a speedtest when it was on it came at 3.6 down and 1.5 up. But it was super fast I was able to stream Netflix which I never could on my poor 3g. I'm so confused and kinda frustrated I traded my note2 on because I would have LTE right now.

I live on the pa/oh border but see that's why I'm worried, I thought it woulda been here when LTE was deployed. If this is the case I'd return my nexus 5 for a older phone that's not triband and that's sad, I don't want to do that because the speeds on my mother gs3 are crazy fast. I have forced my phone into LTE but it just stay on for a minute then goes back to 3g.

Yes this place is awesome. I've done all updates. We got LTE on January 20th and 22 and that's why I'm wondering if this is a network or software problem.

I live in hermitage pa. My mothers gs3 and father's iphone5 both get excellent LTE yet my nexus 5 stays in 3g. I know this a known problem but my area seems very confused. They say they have LTE on 800 and 1900 here, yet I get neithe. My local sprint store told me there was going to be a update for the phone q1 2014, but sprint service reps tell me I'll have to wait a month for them to finish lte in the area. Anyone have any ideas? I did get a text msg from sprint saying my area would be done at the end of the month, but did they mean that for the LTE that is currently here or did they mean the updated for triband phones?
