    NTelos here in Beckley really isn't all that bad. LTE gets decent enough speed. For the 45.00 a month we pay really can't complain.

    Don't want to get anyone's hopes up or make any kind of indication, but I recently spoke with a Shentel executive about the whole nTelos buyout and if Shentel would possibly pick up the markets that were left. All he could say is that it would not be out of the question if the price was right. I asked if there was any discussion about it, he just smiled and said nothing.

    Oh, I also have a Note 3 but have not noticed it in the Beckley markets. According to Sprints website both parties have to have HD Voice services for it to be enabled. I don't know to many people left who have Sprint to try it out. LOL

    It's a shame I have LTE service everywhere outside of WV.

    I wonder if this is just where a phone may have picked up eHRPD signal but never made a registered connection. Would that tip it off? I am not familiar with that program.

    If I didn't work for Shentel I would be using Verizon as well.

    I work out of nTelos coverage and every time I get into coverage area and turn my phone on, I open signal check hoping to see it say eHRPD access and then LTE.

    They do have the Nexus 5. No HTC M8, they have just the standard HTC One. We haven't been very satisfied with my wife's nTelos service. LTE is spotty and not always up to pay with speeds.

    It's sad it's taken this long to even hear something about LTE in our area. As soon as I leave the nTelos markets I have LTE service. Almost everywhere I go... My parents live in rural Michigan and I had LTE there. I'm in Smokey Mountains and I have LTE service here. Crazy.... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

    Shentel just rebuilt their entire network - it is one of the most expensive projects to date. Sad as it is, I doubt they are looking to take on any more rebuilds.
