    I was over at the McDonald's at Gandy and 19 last nice was pulling about 10 dl.. Have no idea where it's coming from though. We have been getting signals in that area for a while now. I think the site at Mainlands is up though Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    Holy Crap..Sitting at my desk and my 4G icon just popped up. Weak signal though. The tower at Ulmerton and 66th may have just been turned on.

    Bars lie. Don't use them as a determining factor if your service is good or not. Check signal strength instead or better yet your experience. If you have 3 bars but you are pulling down 10MBs dl it wouldn't seem to make a difference Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    Its really funny now to read through this thread that started back in Aug and see where we are now. how angry we all were. lol now it seems like sites are being turned on a daily basis. Heck I had 4G sitting in my bedroom now. Congrats to all of us.

    As an example Robert, my EVO LTE is obviously a week performer as compared to other handsets on the network. I can't complain at all about the handset because as far as Sprint is concerned or tech support is concerned they have not launched the market yet. This is what I have been told by them.     This is the first time that someone has had a well thought out reason why launch announcement is important.. Well said. I agree 100 percent. Accountability means a lot here.     so their own flagship phone fro less than a year ago is worth only $60 dollars to them..geesh

    hmmm did they get the panels up? that all I want to know..Kidding..honestly not sure if they should have been using that lift if those conditions anyway. If its that windy on the ground then imagine 125ft in the air.

    The radio is weak. Does not hold LTE signal long enough. My girl has a Note II she got about 2 weeks ago. Originally, I thought that the Note picked up signal better, but I have back tracked off of that thought because there are times when I have LTE and she doesn't. Without a doubt though the Note will hold the signal longer than the EVO. a noticeable amout of time too. Also the EVO will not let go of a 1X signal either. This was just to answer your question but this has been discussed on this forum numerous times.

    I'm so disappointed in my EVO LTE that it would be hard for me to say I will probably pick this up. HTC does such a good job with hardware they make it hard for me to look at another maker. I like the Aluminum and what looks like a one piece back. I will wait on this one I think. My son is due for a upgrade around Xmas and this will be a definite step up from his Nexus S plus he is not as demanding or critical as I am. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    Good question. I would say no though. I also believe that the LTE may be the last "EVO" we see on Sprint.

    We will be fine. There are 3 sites I know of that are not active. I imagine especially on the beach there are tons more we don't know about.. I'm fine with the build out over there and here. I need LTE everywhere I go not just around the corner Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
