I just went back to native app on phone with Google Voice app on tablet and GV email on computer. I don't get MMS on the tablet or computer but It works well enough for now.

I thought I wasn't having the multiple sms sent issue either. But it must be intermittent. I sent someone three texts yesterday as part of a "conversation"; all within a few minutes. First two were fine. Third one he received 48 times.
-
I noticed that when I send SMS via sprint, hangouts also shows a duplicate message from google voice. The recipient doesn't get two messages though, any idea what's causing it?

Yesterday, I didn't have this problem. All my sms in Hangouts said sent "via Google Voice". Overnight something changed because now I have the duplicate issue as well. I hadn't changed any of my settings.

The following sentence seems a bit disingenuous. It sounds like it was more to ensure the sale of tickets to local fans rather than to ensure the tickets weren't sold to 49er fans.
"In short, if you lived in California or Nevada (areas likely to support the San Francisco 49ers), you weren’t allowed to purchase tickets."

The only real benefit to the Gen 2 for me was the addition of the microSD slot ... but I haven't come close to filling up my 16GB internal so it turned out not to be a huge deal for me.
The 2013 Nexus 7, like the first generation, does not have a microSD slot.

I'm rooted and use Titanium Backup. So i haven't tried to use the Helium app. I read an article that included it. Supposed to work on both rooted and non-rooted devices.
There is a free version. Might want to give it a shot.

West Grove is solid since yesterday morning. Spent a few hours in Hockessin yesterday, I was picking up 800 off a Landenberg tower, That was solid while I was there.
The one in Hazleton. I don't know. I wasn't actually in Hazleton, just nearby. It was a reach and I had to switch my prl so I could use a closer tower.

Picking up 800 1x on some towers in Southern Chester County.
I was also picking up a 800 signal from a Hazleton tower when I was nearby a couple of weeks ago.

Here's the transcript from the preliminary hearing on the Sprint suit against DISH and Clearwire. It probably doesn't matter any longer but I found it an interesting read.

Will Sprint release a coverage map of Clearwire 2500 LTE and LTE 800 when they release these triband devices? Really want to see if my local clearwire site has been upgraded to LTE.
They already have device specific coverage maps on Sprint.com. I suspect they will continue with that.

Don't forget the breakup fee if they turned their backs on the deal. $115 million would be crippling to clearwire.
Or that Mount Kellett and others have pledged to sell to Sprint even if deal doesn't close. They already had the the 13% from Comcast, Intel, Bright House. This is 9% more. If the deal doesn't close, Sprint also converts the 3 months financing.
Clearwire also agreed to hold the annual shareholders meeting as "expeditiously as possible" if the deal doesn't close. And the standstill agreement waived under certain circumstances.
The whole deal is designed to block DISH.

DISH responds to suit

The "failure to deal fairly" makes me laugh. Nothing DISH has done seems fair.

Part of the problem might be "buffer bloat". Instead of dropping packets, and thus throttling back on upload or download speed, in a timely manner so devices share the internet equally, router buffers fill up in increase latency before dropping packets. Thus things like Skype or web surfing, where latency is more important that having a LOT of bandwidth.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind if we have issues in the future.
Since I switched everything is fine. Plus my bill is less, can't complain.

So Clearwire has been NOT taking financing from Sprint for 3 out the last 4 months and therefore is trying to cap how much equity Sprint can acquire.
Clearwire has previously announced it was drawing on the Sprint financing for March, April and May. I see nothing in the complaint that contradicts those announcements. Only that Clearwire did not draw on the Sprint financing for January, February or June.
"34. However, DISH succeeded in furthering its scheme to undermine Clearwire’s financial state by making its unlawful proposal contingent upon Clearwire’s refusal to take any draws from the Interim Financing Agreement even though DISH knew that Clearwire needed those funds. As DISH hoped, the December 28 DISH Proposal induced Clearwire into declining to accept the January and February monthly installments offered by Sprint. Clearwire only accepted the March installment after releasing its abysmal financial results, which demonstrated that the company could not survive without this financing. In its February 12, 2013 earnings press release, Clearwire announced that its total fourth quarter revenue dropped 14% and its fourth quarter cash plummeted by $315.1 million."
"49. DISH’s overtures induced the Clearwire Board to refuse the June 2013 draw under the Interim Financing Agreement, further damaging Clearwire’s precarious financial state."

I do not have the the 1x status bar icon enable. When I click Reset Data Connection, I get the unfortunately Signal Check Pro has stopped working message. The app doesn't actually stop, the message just flashes.
