I think the general consensus a few pages back was to change it to 3.
weird i went to go change it and it was 3 but was still showing 3000 for some reason. but its showing correctly now after that.

If you guys know your msl go in there and change. If you don't know it call Sprint and get it.
I know my msl for ages now. Just dont know what to change it to.

I just got updated to ZVE and went into ##DATA# and noticed that the BSRTimer was still at 3000. I thought it was supposed to update that?
Same here just updated to ZVE about 7 hrs ago or so and mine still at 3000 as well.

Well, I got the update today but now Carrier says LG. Whenever I try to update profile, it says Network Error. SignalCheck says Mobile Data is unregistered. I thought the OTA was supposed to make things better, not break them...!
I havent even got the update yet. Been trying to update my profile/prl for about 6 hrs now and getting the Network Error Message. Signal Check Pro says its sending and receiving fine and active. But def weird that it would say that.

Still waiting on the ZVE update as well.

Saw someone working on the tower at corner of I-64 and Fifth St (exit 120, I believe) today. I have no idea which towers are nTelos, but I'm hoping it was NV work afoot! I also happened to pass a Lumos utility truck and saw a Shentel truck, too.
:-D
At what time did youvsee this happening? I was in that area between 515 and 545pm and didnt see it. But I could of missed it thought while going threw that area.

So, my data connection is quite wonky this AM. It was fine driving to work and streaming music. However, since in the office, Signal Check lists it as "Inactive", despite having a good 1x and EVDO connection. I've had Mobile networks set to LTE/CDMA without issue the last few days. I even tried setting it back to CDMA Only, but no difference: same 1x/EVDO connection on Signal Check and "Inactive". Other times, I'm getting "3G" via 1x and data is "Active". Signal Check variable shows EVDO even when data is "Connected to 1xRTT". The connection seems to come and go at will, so I'm assuming they're working on the tower serving me. Hopefully, this means that LTE is finally coming to C'ville!
I've noticed that to both in Albemarle County and Greene. Mine tries to connect to eHRPD (usually 2 - 3xs a day) then lose connection for a min or two then it switches back to evdo/1x for the rest of the day depending on where I'm at.

I'm from Columbus Ohio but this summer i plan on doing some white water rafting down the New River. has anyone experienced Sprint service in the Charleston/Oak Hill/Fayetteville areas recently? If so, is it just 3G or have they unofficially launched LTE yet?
I will know about Fayetteville NC at the end of next month when I travel down to Fl from VA but I was wondering the same thing.

I live in Danville. While it's populated, I would guess we're a 4Q2014 market for them at earliest. It stinks for those of you in launch markets, but I imagine you'll have access before I do.
Im in the Ch'ville/Greene County area I'm guessing we might be in the same boat as you in 4Q2014.

Sprint Corporation (“Sprint,” NYSE: S) and NTELOS Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: NTLS) today announced that Sprint and NTELOS Inc. (“nTelos”) reached an amended agreement to extend their Strategic Network Alliance (“SNA”) through 2022. Under the agreement, nTelos will continue to serve as the exclusive network provider for Sprint in the SNA territory, which covers approximately 2.1 million people in West Virginia and the western part of Virginia. In addition, Sprint customers will gain access to nTelos’s recently launched 4G LTE network and nTelos will have access to Sprint’s 800 MHz, 1.9 GHz and 2.5 GHz spectrum throughout the territory. nTelos plans to maximize the network experience for both its retail and wholesale customers by committing to expand and build its 4G LTE network in the SNA territory to specifications aligned with Sprint’s network modernization program.
Pulled that off of the Sprint website, described it much easier. They've launched LTE in Beckley.... So now all they need is to allow us to connect!

They also have it in Waynesboro Va as well.

This is good news to me since I live in nTelos Territory (Ch'ville). Hoping it will be sooner than later.

Just looked at the nTelos website to see if they had added any new phones that will supposedly work on their 4g LTE. They have three new phones added and they are the HTC Desire, the Moto X and the LG Optimus 7. It appears their 4g LTE net work will be on the PCS 1900 mhz according to the LTE description on those three phones.

BTW just fyi I just happen to look today after taking a few days off from searching stuff on nTelo's 4g LTE and came accross something interesting.
