Phone works great at home. No issues. Maybe it's a tower issue by her job.
-
I'll see if it is an issue by our house because it is confirmed to be configured for eCSFB.
-
She has told me she is not getting 3g or 4g signal.
-
Signal on the GSIII was usually 2 to 3 bars.
-
Just bought my wife a new HTC One M8 and she is not getting a usable network signal where her old GSIII worked great. She was able to get 4g on her GSIII, but now no signal with her M8. Could it be the phone?

Thanks for the info!!! I will have to look into this.

Is there a map of Clearwire towers that Sprint will change to band 41? I am just curious because we have a Wimax tower right behind us that hasn't been scheduled for any type of change (no permits issued at all). This would give me excellent coverage here in our basement building.

LTE 1900 expansion
flyloc2 replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Anyone know if Sprint will add LTE 1900 to Clear sites? I have a WIMAX tower right behind my workplace and it would so nice to have a very strong signal. When I had my EVO 4g I got WIMAX even way down in the basement. -
Just got 4G signal at Torrance City Hall (outside of course). So at least the South Bay is slowly moving along.
-
I am a block from the upgraded LTE tower. I presume the signal strength is high. I understand Sprint is still in testing mode while more towers come online so I don't have to many complaints with the LTE speed. I just wish the upgraded 3G would start to roll out faster.
-
I noticed that when I am connected to the 4g tower by West Compton/North Carson, the speeds are just so slow they make 1X look fast. I wonder what is the cause of that.
-
I haven't received a LTE signal for about a week in the South Bay. I wonder if Sprint has finished testing or are they waiting on new installations to come online.
-
It's back to 1X seems like for me. I am hoping they are fine tuning the network for a pre-launch soon.
-
I noticed the same thing in N. Torrance on my way home yesterday. I was connected to 4g, but the speeds were well under 2mb down. I thought maybe it was my phone at first.
-
I think the South Bay has just started receiving eHRPD in the last few days that I know of. Hopefully this is a sign that more LTE towers will be coming online soon.
-
I am now noticing eHRPD being broadcast over the South Bay a long with LTE. Could this mean pre-launch is imminent?
-
Robert, Sprint can't even do a soft launch until eHRPD is running over the area, correct? Thanks for all the hard work you do!!!

21mb down in the Harbor Gateway this morning (Normandie/190th Street). Keep it coming Sprint!!
-
Ok. LTE seems to be back up in Gardena and North Carson. I still think this is some kind of testing going on. I can't even get Ehrpd on 3G sites in the same area.
-
Well it seems very clear now that Sprint was just doing some live testing in LA Metro. I haven't even had enhanced 3G since Saturday. I hate being teased.
-
Same thing happened to me in the South Bay. LTE was good Friday and now no signal at all. I figured Sprint started blocking connections.
-
I just got LTE in Torrance, Gardena and Carson. Hoping for more.

Will do. I will go by there today.
