Where is the band 25 EARFCN of 8665? I haven't seen an EARFCN that sprint uses, and the nexus 5 scans for. ( except b41 39826)
I noticed that.

My thoughts on the 4.3 build test so far: It's breathed new life into my phone! Seems quick and responsive. A few issues I've found:
...
5. When you press the home button from any app, it doesn't return to the default home screen - goes back to whichever one you were on before. Not sure if this is a bug, but I don't like the way it works.
...That might be all for the moment. What are other people's thoughts so far??
My Nexus 5 does this. It maybe is a Android 4.x thing.

What brings you to that conclusion?
A new Nexus what batter time to have a update and also what has been said in the pass about the Nexus 5 getting the update about 2 weeks after the G2 did.
-
Are you saying this, simply because a new revision of the phone is coming out? I do not think the red Nexus 5 is going to have any correlation to the Spark update. It'd be nice, but I thought you had another / inside source...
Because of the red Nexus 5.
-
Looks like the Red Nexus 5 is coming. Nice to see a bit more detailed information about acquiring a proper Sim card or UICC as they refer to it.
We may get the Spark OTA update before or around Feb 4th.

That's a pesky bug that I have been able to minimize but apparently not completely eliminate yet! I thought it was fixed, but saw it pop up myself the other day while I was driving for the first time in awhile.. yelled some choice words when I saw it! I'm working on that, the KitKat crashes, and the inconsistent notifications..

The Provider showing the SID.
To me it happen when I was in the DFW Market and connected to LTE and than back to CDMA, I do not have LTE at home in the East Texas Market.
-
Mike, I have a feature request for the Nexus 5 and the alike.
I would like for SignalCheck to show the LTE GCI and PCI in the Notification drawer to know what tower I am connected to.
No LTE here let or I would have use a pic of that.

Between the exhaust fumes and the cellular radiation, I am sure your insurance company loves you..
I was testing the generator to make sure it was ready(and did not need it) and I was only by it for 1min.
-
I did a noise cancelling test, I was about 5 inches to the side of the exhaust of a Honda EU2000i generator and the person on the land line could hear me just fine and said that it sounded like water in the background.
I do not know the SO I was using at the time but I think it was 4GV-NB.

I have notice when the Nexus 5 is roaming it takes awhile to go back to Sprint.

It appears people who ordered two day delivery are getting priority ship days over people who got regular shipping, not just a quicker ship rate. Ordered on the 5 and still left with 26th ship date. Its like being able to cut in line at Disney if you paid more for the same standard ticket haha.
I did the 3-5 day (standard shipping).
I ordered mine on Nov 18th at 7:17 PM CST and got a email today (19th) at 7:52 PM CST with tracking number 32GB White.

The wife says the Henderson, TX site is working. She even threw down a bit of purple on the map.
Working well to not be in donut mode any more?
And can she get the LTE ID's?

Is this in Mount Pleasant? For Sprint, 1965-1970 MHz is not relevant, as that is the downlink of the PCS E block. In the Dallas-Fort Worth MTA, Sprint is licensed the PCS B block, which has its downlink at 1950-1965 MHz.
Prima facie, what you have in the PCS E block looks like a W-CDMA carrier. Then, at 1971 MHz, that would be in the PCS F block, and it looks like a GSM channel.
I would say AT&T or T-Mobile for one or both, but I would have to check my spreadsheets and/or the FCC ULS to know for sure. Do you happen to know whether you are in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Paris, or Texarkana BTA?
AJ
Yes it is in Mt. Pleasant, Tx.
BTA? The SID is 4120.
-
AJ any idea what this is
1965 - 1970 MHz and 1971 MHz
PCS 1X is CH 425 and EVDO is CH 475.
-
Any idea which one? All the towers inside the loop still show as legacy.
It was recently.
-
Texarkana may have LTE it is in downtown Texarkana, Tx.

Coverage in this area is great for the number of Sprint towers but 800SMR will make it that much better.

You mean the ONE tower in Mt. Pleasant, Tx! LOL
Hay there's more than ONE, there is 3 of them and one hasFiber, it was installed on 6/20/2013.
And the EvDO has not been working since they changed the NID from 5 to 311 on it (the one on FM 1735).
-
Dear Ericsson if you are reading this please turn on LTE and/or 800SMR (1X) by the first week of September it can be any cell tower in Mt. Pleasant, Tx.
It will be a nice birthday present.

Mike,
I think their is a bug in the Show Site Hints I have Sprint 3 selected.
On 1X PCS BID is 511B hex sector 3 but on 1X 800 129B hex sector 2 should be 3. So it thinks 1299, 129A and 129B are different sites for the add a note.
The East Texas market uses both 9, A, B and also 1, 2, 3 on the BID hex.
Only difference is 9, A, B (NID: 311) is offset BSL and 1, 2, 3 (NID: 312) is exact BSL.
