  1. @techiegirl, I was in Sacramento this weekend for the UFC fight and wow the 3G sucked in and around ARCO (ugh still can't call it "sleep Train") and I thought Visalia's 3G was horrendous. I feel sorry for y'all up there and hopefully Sprint will go live with LTE there. We've only had it a few weeks down here and I already missed it being there for 2 days LOL.
  2. and what is a site ID? is that information that could get this site in legal trouble with Sprint?
  3. I'm still waiting on the Acequia tower to go live with LTE, so that way I can use LTE at work (near downtown) and not have to use the Airrave at my house. Netflix streams flawlessly off LTE near the Northside Lowe's and Best Buy
  4. I hope so, It will be nice to not have to use another device inside my house just to have decent cell signal
  5. My Speedtest result in Visalia for Sprint (LTE) : 8.19 Mb/s (download) & 7.41 Mb/s (upload) via #sensorly @sprint http://t.co/QOdtglqpLI

  6. I was at the Lowe's on the northside off Demaree and that's where I got the first shot of LTE, then went to my mother in laws house near the walmart grocery store, and they have horrible service and it was still 3G and few bars, but hopefully they will up the power when it goes "live". Also still have no bars to 1 bar at my house off Pinkham and Walnut and still on 3G, but seeing that LTE on my screen last night left me giddy as a school girl, I hope they get most of Visalia covered

  8. Just noticed lte is turned on getting 7mb down 4mb up ill upload the screen captures to box and post the links later. Im just super excites to finally see 4G on my phone in visalia
  9. I just updated to 4.3 on my Note 2, but I did not do the OTA update I got the file from the XDA-developers website. I have not been in a LTE area since it was installed so I'm not sure what band it is using, but I would hold off on the update as long as you can (unless you already have Galaxy Gear or know you'll get it for the holidays) the battery life on it is horrible, I used to get 18-24 hours of heavy usage but now I'm getting 12-16 at max, and with the same power saving setting (well now NFC and S-Beam are turned off) as I had before and same usage pattern. I'm hoping that Sprint releases a fix for the battery life issue soon, other than that 4.3 is rock solid and would love to test it out in an LTE area.

  11. This is going to be an exciting time for this Galaxy Note 2 owner, 4.3 update released today, LTE in 8-12 weeks (hopefully). I'm just hoping it's not hyperbole and Sprint can deliver on everything they have said and makes it where I do not need to have an AirRave anymore in my house. Thanks again for all the hard work everyone who posts here, it's great to have an all in one resource for this.
  12. Yes, Yes it is. But to be fair when I go to Morro Bay I can usually connect my phone to my laptop using PDAnet and I can stream Netflix with no issues and I usually get close to 2MBPS down on my Note 2. Not sure why it's so strong on 3G there but sucks here sometimes
  13. I was in Universal City this past weekend and although I had 4G on my Galaxy Note 2, the speeds were horrible. I hope that it was just over saturation on the towers The fastest I got was 8.19 down and 4.20 up, the average was around 2 up and 1 down
  14. I spent 3 hours walking. 367 calories burned. #LoseIt

  15. Well looks like we'll get Android Jelly Bean 4.3 on the 20th of November, so sooner than LTE in the Visalia area...
  16. I spent 2 hours cleaning. 563 calories burned. #LoseIt

  17. I was picking up my wife from work (She works at the North Visalia Lowes) and I usually get a great 3G signal there before i connect to the WiFi to watch netflix on my Note II. Well last night I was a bit to far away to connect to the WiFi and I noticed that I couldn't connect to facebook or twitter or even surf the net on the 3G even though I had 4 bars, but when I went to do a speed test it would time out and give a Network connection error, I hope that's a good sign for Visalia to get the LTE flipped on soon. I just hope that when the LTE is turned on that I'll no longer have to rely on an AirRave to make calls from my house, I'm in a huge dead zone and it sucks when i'm used to 4 or 5 bars. Even at work it's gone down to 2-3 from 4-5 not more than 6 months ago.

  19. I just wanted to say thanks for all the information and even digging through the trolling, this has been a very informative usergroup.
  20. What i'm starting to wonder is will we get LTE before Sprint upgrades the Galaxy S III or Note II....
  21. I've been following this thread for a while and I just had to post now. I have been getting some really bazzar issues with my Note II in the past few weeks. Today at work (Downtown Visalia) i'm on roaming, I've never had less than 4 bars here inside my office and this has been filled with high hopes that LTE will be turned on soon
  22. I spent 30 minutes cleaning. 145 calories burned. #LoseIt
