I'd like to repost this map as it looks like this is the expansion they are making on the fringe in theory. I'm wondering if this is just the 2018 expansion.

I love the plan to get all bands on all towers... this is something with low band that T-Mobile has not done. It will give Sprint an advantage if they choose to do this in addition to the high band add.

For people who bemoan the limited coverage of band 41, many of you are irrationally gung ho over 256QAM, which has a usable coverage radius much smaller than that of band 41.

Very true but if you can't get it 64QAM would still be supported. I think it would make more of a difference for Band 25 / Band 26 to increase the cell throughput capacity correct? I mean that is why every other carrier has gone to 256QAM correct?
For Example T-Mobile deployed 256QAM on their 5x5MHz of Band 12 and saw a 33% capacity increase. We really need that increase in low / mid band. High band it wouldn't make as much of a difference unless on top of the tower but still would help.

I just know from my data speed testing before and after it was implemented... I guess that might be a narrow viewYou "know" that 256QAM helped both reliability and speed on T-Mobile? How?
Reliability, it did not, just the opposite.

One other thing... doesn't it make the cell spectrum more efficient and increase capacity overall ?Why do you want it so badly? The downlink rarely will possess the SINR to use 256QAM.

I just know on T-Moble it really helped network reliability and speed. Also I think they should work on multiple band CA between 800 and 1900 then keep the B41 CA how it is...Why do you want it so badly? The downlink rarely will possess the SINR to use 256QAM.

I'm wondering what is stopping Sprint from moving forward on 256 QAM

I don't think so... I have the same issue as you with 1900 not penetrating deep in to my house. 800 was always fine. I ended up switching the Magicbox out for an Airave 3 LTE as it also boosts the 1x Voice. Is there any way to force "band class 10" i.e. 800 MHz voice on the S8?
I see that you can disable BC10 under ##DATA# but I would like to force it on.
The reason is that 1900 MHz voice calls here always warble slightly here (occasional audio glitches and dropouts) on any phone. We are surrounded by tall trees so maybe that is the problem. Or it could be something else but it has been that way for years.
When I do get 800 MHz on a voice call, there is no such problem. Actually I have another phone (a Tribute HD) that seems to like using BC 10. Maybe I should just move my main number over onto it.
I can use LTE Calling but I have a magic box so there is some latency and it can glitch sometimes too.
Thanks.

In my area Sprint has tons more native coverage where T-Mobile has fair i.e. no service. One example is Dansville, MI. T-Mobile has no tower and no service for 20 miles around it but Sprint has a tower right in town with B25/B26/and B41. Sprint's network in Michigan is way more dense then T-Mobile. I couldn't take the no service anymore and switched back to Sprint. I'm very happy now with my decisionListen, and listen carefully, folks.
You can state that Sprint, according to some third party studies, is measurably more reliable than T-Mobile. And you can state that Sprint has a widespread roaming agreement with VZW, as Sprint does with other operators.
Those are facts.
But you may not conclude that Sprint is measurably more reliable than T-Mobile -- only because -- Sprint has widespread roaming agreements with VZW or any other operator(s).
Notorious Magentan troll, Fabian Cortez, makes that conclusion. If you want to make the same argument, you can take it and stuff it in your turkey.
That argument overlooks numerous other possible explanations: Sprint is measurably more reliable with or without roaming agreements, T-Mobile is highly unreliable due to its own decisions and shortcomings, etc. Until you have additional evidence to substantiate one explanation or to discount alternative explanations, any argument for the former is not sound reasoning. In short, it does not pass the critical thinking test.

I don't want to jinx it, but so far I have made it all day without a CloudFront block. Maybe, just maybe, disabling the Show Avatar workaround might just do the trick.

I tried this on mine and haven't gotten the error yet either. Fingers Crossed!

The v30 has uplink CA enabledWhat do you mean there is upload CA live? 4x4 mimo is also active in some areas.

I'm not sure what it is but I can tell you my Note 8 has it enabledI have noticed a new option added to the Data Programming screen on the Oreo beta for LTE called Band 41 PCII which is by default enabled. Anyone know what this for, is this possibly 2x CA upload?

This is the cloudfront block...Now I'm at work today and Tapatalk app is giving me this again....which is what I was seeing last night at home. Except my home WiFi wasn't letting me into the website on my laptop either. This work connection on my desktop is wired, but my phone on wireless does not work. Flip off WiFi so I'm on Sprint and it works again. How frustrating!!!! hope any of this helps with the ticket to Tapatalk.
