  1. I see ssome guys working in lakeland, FL, off of Old Combed Rd. They are putting towers in now, but I don't know for what company. I took some bad pics with my cell and sill upload them tomorrow. If I work at this jobsite tomorrow I will bring my camera to take pics.
  2. This weekend I have free, so I'm going to go driving around all of Auburndale looking to see if anything has started here yet. I'll also do parts of Lakeland and Winter Haven in hopes that I can find LTE coverage near me. The only thing is I gotta learn how to do this first, lol.

  4. I checked it out. That's awesome. I'm going to be working in Cocoa M-F the next 3-4 months and I saw they are getting much more coverage than here. I'm tempted to switch to a Note 2 much sooner than I wanted to, lol.
  5. Where are you getting 4G LTE at in Lakeland? I am able to get 4G Wiimax in certain areas in downtown Lakeland with my Evo 3D. I told my wife to keep an eye out and see when 4G LTE pops up on her phone, but we haven't seen anything yet. She has a Note 2.
  6. I really need to get an LTE phone. I travel all around central Florida from Tampa to Daytona, and sometimes up in Gainesville. I do roofing for a living, so I could possible get LTE in a few areas already. I really hope it comes to Auburndale soon, so I can get rid of my Evo 3D. The only reason I like it is b/c atm I work in Tampa and get great Wiimax connections. If I get a Note 2 I'll be stuck with 3g possibly. It's not bad in all areas, but some it is. I got my wife a Note 2, but she only works in Winter Haven, so she can't test it out much. I told her to keep an eye on her signal to see if LTE ever comes on.
  7. I know it has Orlando with 1st LTE sites in Orlando, but just wondering when it'll actually be usable. I know it'll probably be a few months after Orlando lights up that I'll get LTE in my area, but I'm still excited as Orlando was listed in the article to get first LTE sites in September. Will that article be updated? I'm going to donate some money, so hopefully I can get info faster. I just won't be able to donate $100+ so I can get the most info as a premium user.
  8. I'm up for contract renewal, but I'm waiting to see how LTE rolls out in Orlando. I'm in Auburndale, which is halfway between Orlando and Tampa, but Orlando is my market apparently. I have an Evo 3D, but use 3G 95% of the time as no where around here has 4G besides Lakeland (downtown). It's like glorified WIFI for the most part and it doesn't keep signal well, but I can get it there when I do a job-site there. I really want to upgrade to an S3, but I don't want to be stuck in a contract for another 2 years with Sprint if they can't speed up 3G or get 4G LTE. I have a Nextel tower by my house, so I'm hoping that gets turned into a 4G LTE tower in the future. Maybe then I could get service in or around my house because it's pathetic now. I have to have an Airave to get service inside my house. Even outside it's super super slow without the airave. EDIT: I remembered I can also get 4G Wiimax in parts of Winter Haven (mainly when I'm at my buddies house). It makes me mad cause I can easily hit 4-5mb inside his house. The funny thing is 3G inside his house is amost nonexistant with Sprint, but I can get 4G awesome. I barely go over there, so it isn't like I can use it much.
