  1. As much as I love my Evo and am still happy with it. It just isn't able to overcome its low memory design flaw. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  2. Haha, yep. We are going to be one big empty circle in a lte ocean. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm just thrilled to see another NC market listed. May not have lte where I live, but will at least have it when I travel. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

  8. I'm still with Sprint for at least a few more months. If the band-aid 3G fixes are worthwhile I will stick with them. If the band-aid fixes don't improve things that much, then I will be off to AT&T or Verizon for 2 years. Then after then I will recheck Sprint as NV should be in my area by then. But as much as I like Sprint. Neither I or my wife will put up with sub 200kbps speeds for 2 more years.

  10. I called to complsin about speeds, and no discount here either. They did check the towers I have tge most trouble with. Gave me cdma drop rates and all that stuff. They did tell me about all of the towers I use are scheduled for additional carriers and backhaul upgrades in the next few months. But other than that to wait for network vision. I'm just hoping the band aid fixes are good enough to improve and handle capacity un yu il NV gets here. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  11. I know sprint needs the money, but I don't like it. The 5x5 they are rolling out is not huge. Just looks like are once again willing to saturate thier network with wholesale customers while thier postpaid customers suffer. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  12. thats true and was a bit misleading on my part. the actual carriers always tend to sell for more than you can get the phones elsewhere.
  13. if your dumb enough to buy it from the verizon site. $99 from amazon http://wireless.amazon.com/dp/B0061R2A1S
  14. yea. sorry just the frustration of the wife begging me to port everyday getting to me. I'll shut up.
  15. Thats great news, nice little surprise there! Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  16. I think it would be amazing if Sprint reached thier goal of starting all markets by end of 2013. And I really hope they reach that goal. But as much as I want to see it happen. Something always comes up to delay huge projects. Lack of funds, cost overruns, lack of manpower, part shipping delays, even weather. I wish them a lot of luck. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  17. Sounds good. Just need to wait and see what kind of battery life thier new phones get. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  18. I really do hope sprints nexus is updated a bit, otherwise there is no reason not to wait for new releases that will be out soon. Im just not going to pay 200-300 for a phone thats been out for months that verizon now sales for $99. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  19. Its all in the dr. dre beats brand name. For the same price you can get a much better set of headphones. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
  20. I hope they get really innovative with this model. Hopefully do something crazy like have a 4x4 grid of icons on it. You know, something brand new like that to justify buying a new one. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

  22. It would be between the gnex or the GSIII. Depends on when the GSIII is announced and if the Nexus coming to sprint has any updates. It would be a really hard choice if the gnex coming to sprint for example came with the s4 chip.
  23. well I'm not getting into the whole capitalist/ marxist thing. They are both good systems, but once you add the human eliment they start to have problems(same with anything it seems). It basically comes down to People have a level of service they want and expect. And will simply choose the company who best fits thier needs with the least amount of compromise. Brand loyalty does play a part, as people will tend to overlook some minor flaws in a brand they are loyal too, and they will also look for major improvments in a new brand to move to thier services. Also when it comes to wireless it makes it more difficult because wireless services from the same company vary wildly due to location. Its not like doing walmart compairisons where every walmart everywhere is exactly the same. Or cars, where a bmw in cali is the same as a bmw in NY. And with Sprint this is even more so. You have some Sprint champions on other forums that go crazy when anyone complains. Of course they are the same ones that brag about thier 1+meg 3g speeds all day long. Of course you have a lot of others that complain when they have no reason too. I noticed these are mostly new iphone users who came from AT&T. Who complain and bitch even when they are getting great 3G cdma speeds. I think the best example of this was when someone who stuck up for sprint went on a business trip and stayed in one of the bad markets (like mine). His whole outlook changed, to where after those few days/week of carrying a cell phone but having it be totally useless, That Sprint champion even admitted that there is no way in hell he could stay with sprint with that kind of performance. I guess I am saying Don't feel Dirty looking around and shopping. Everyone has to make the best decision that fits thier needs and the needs of thier familys based on the service they require and thier location. But Don't get hung up on some lie like company loyalty. Personally I will only show loyalty to a company that shows some loyalty back. And over the last year Sprint has thrown customer loyalty out the window. Sadly While I used to love Sprint. Over the past 2 years the only things that have changed are that my cell phone bill has continued to go up. While service has continued to go down. (and perks were trashed all together.) Whats worse is I am the one thats insane. As I continue to pay hundereds a month for wifi only "cell" phones and continue to think that the company might eventualy fix things enough to where my phones are usuable again.

  25. Umm, didn't think of they numbers of people upgrading to smart phones and using 3G data. I guess that is mostly to blame. Just was wondering if there was anything else behind the curtain that might be missing. I know I am not blaming it on the iphone. Speeds here where I live had started to go to crap well before the iphone was released. The iphone is also a postpaid plan phone. And sadly even with the big iphone sales. Sprints postpaid subscribers stayed the same. So not sure how many were new sprint customers, or just current sprint customers moving over to the iphone from blackberrys and such. If it really is just a subscribers numbers thing. I feel sorry for sprint. Because the majority of the adds listed for them are wholesale customers. Would really suck if wholesale customers (who sprint makes the least amount of money on), are the reason for thier network crashing and losing good long term postpaid (bread and butter) subscribers.
