That's what I meant about them re inventing the wheel. They told me that the new tri band phone required everything to be changed put to new equipment. They said all I have in my area in the long range frequency but not the wall penetrating frequency they said there's 3 different frequencys or bands they use maybe it megahertz and all we have is the first level. That's what's they said... my note 3 worked great my note 4 not great but they said they use totally different radios.

Wilton manors... 2 of my neighbors already changes providers and 1 of my friends because of all the issues sadly I wish it was just my phone.

How many carriers use spark? Because that's what I am referring too.. I had no issues till they started the spark upgrades. The tri band technology and spark network is a sprint network and you know that. ...

When they went from wimax to lte I had the same problem for 2.5 years. It has to do with how they setup their network. They don't fully upgrade 1 tower at a time. they put 1 spectrum in the region then once they have a stable network they go to the next one. We have sadly had major issues in my area.. they said they just put in the voice upgrade in march and there's still 2 major upgrades and several minor upgrades to be completed once they can stabilize out the tower plus it's a mini tower like 1/3 of the size of a normal tower. Normally my wifi calling makes a big difference but there's a switch issue which is causing delayed ringing so i get like half a ring or no ring at all even on wifi calling.. I'll wait a bit more and see if they can fix it. But tks for the advice I wish sprint just used the same network as the rest of the carriers. Maybe if they were not trying to re invent the wheel they would not have as many issues... just my 2 cents

I have about 27 ticket #s since October;-( I talked to the guy working on the tower once when I said him. Something keeps shorting out the equipment they replaced all the wires and equipment top to bottom when I talked to him because they said they had no clue what was overloading and frying everything. Other areas are ok just not where I am 99% of the time

I know i just hate switching. ... I'm on the phone with sprint now and they are saying my tower still has open tickets on it :-(

Sadly I have reported it over and over since October of 2014 when I got my note 4. They keep telling me they will fix it and they are replacing the equipment with new equipment. So far Nothing has been done. Everytime they close a ticket in my area they open a new one a day later. It's been like this since October.

I have had this problem since day one of changing to the note 4. So has 5 other people I know that live in with a block of me. 2 have changed service because of it. My tower is always down! Always!

I'm always on spark and my service sucks. My speeds are all over the place. I think 2 or 3 times I have gotten speeds over 50mb but I'm lucky to get lte speeds of 20mb it's normally under 10mb also my phone never rings my texts don't work and my calls don't go through properly.

I have often found that's new towers not configured properly give out more speed then they should. I get about 130mb on my wifi at home. So the phones can do it. I believe sprint has a speed limit set to 60mb which in general we never reach but if it's a new tower and the limits are not on yet then you maybe getting its full capabilities that's all...it will go away

My lte is still off I don't know what happened nor does sprint but they won't report it as an outage because their maps were never updated that my area was lte :-( what is going on

I dont know what happened but my tower went off today:-( we have had 4g for almost 3 weeks and today Its back to 3g

Its been on there for 2 weeks I have had sensory on in that area but it did not update... idky... also as of Wednesday night the tower in wilton manors went live at 2200 dixie high way wm to. Yaa go sprint!▲▲

4g was working on Oakland Park Boulevard and federal highway but tonight 4G turned on in Wilton Manors on Wilton Drive sensory for some reason isn't working right now so its not mapping out but the speed test is working and speed test.net is working and I'm getting a good 20 megs down and 10 megs up yea

I feel your pain my 3g is 40kbps down 100up and 4g flicks over when I walk my dogs and it has no internet I'm in Wilton Manors off of Dixie Highway in between Oakland Park Boulevard Sunrise

Where I live I get ehrpd or evdoa. Sprint told me ehrpd is a slower network he said its kind of like 2g. He said the evdoa network is a much better network. It is not the new nv though if you run a speed test throuh speed test.net app u will notice the speed different or you should because I sure do. They are still upgrading old towers still with the old network crap. If you go to sprints site it might say u have a data upgrade or capacity upgrade or voice upgrade they are upgrading the towers they are not workng on due to all the issues south florida has been having. My zip code has like 166 upgrades. Sprint said they can legally only upgrade so many towers to nv and lte at once due to the law and fcc. I dont know how true that is but I was talking to network ticket support which deals with open network tickets. When you call them it goes straight to them they have a special phone number.
