All the equipment was installed at the same time, except the carrier cards. LTE 800 will require a separate roll out to each site to install a carrier card and integrate. The carrier cards were not available from most OEM's until recently.

Thanks. I've been wondering about that.

They added it on and put my wife on the $15/month plan when she went in. I got the receipt while she was still there and logged in and got rid of both. Still have the activation fee which they also didn't say anything to her about, but I guess that's to be expected.

Oh, okay. Yeah I'm not sure how often the android one refreshes.

It always seemed pretty instant to me when you load up the page.

I have Lookout installed because I download apps from Xda and other sources. No pirated apps.

Hopefully it won't be exclusive to certain devices. Android naively supports IMS, so hopefully it will work on Nexus devices as well.

Has anyone seen Band 41 in Fort Worth yet?

For those of you who signed up, is the Framily discount applied in time for the first bill, or will you really have the wait two billing cycles?
Also, are taxes calculated before or after Framily discount(s)?
Mine is still showing $55 for the 2 lines.

I'll be looking at Swappa for a slightly used phone if I switch later this year. I got my (Verizon) Note 2 for $550 off contract (to keep unlimited and not be locked into contracts which I despise). Phone was in 100% condition but the previous owner said it was too big. Gotta keep an eye on deals like that to make Framily more economical.
Well if you switch, let me add you to my Framily. We'll call you step-cousin.

btw I want Samuel L Jackson to be the new spokesperson for Sprint and explain these plans for the common folk like he does with Capital One, but with a bit more aggression and slip in a curse word or two.
"Get these mother lovin' friends into my mother lovin' Framily!"

Ok, here's how I did the math.
Currently I'm on a 1500 Everything Family with a 23% discount and 2 lines
Line 1: 84.7 (110 -23%) + $10 Premium data + $4 insurance = $98.70
Line 2: 19.99 + $10 Premium data + $11 insurance = $40.99
Total before taxes and fees is $139.69
If I changed to a Framily plan with just my two lines and before I find anyone to share my discount with:
Line 1: $50 + $15.40 ($20 unlimited data - 23% discount) + $4 insurance = $69.40
Line 2: $50 + $7.70 ($10 3GB data - 23% discount) + $11 insurance = $68.70
Total before taxes and fees is $138.10
So I can come out better on the Framily plan, but just barely, but I get unlimited minutes which is useful for me. Then, if I find anyone else to add to my group, I can increase my savings any further.
After seeing some of the comments around the Internet, I think some people are forgetting that you don't have to be liable for the bill for everyone. I've seen people comparing it to the UMW plans which subtract $10 for each new line, but on those plans it's all under a single bill. In my case, if I were able to find 5 more people to join my Framily my bill would be $88.10, which is a very significant discount. I could even up my wife to unlimited data, which she doesn't use (but she's a wife, so if I have it she probably needs it) and only be at $95.80. This stomps the hell out of the competition for unlimited everything.

I'll just go ahead and start looking forward to that, then. I'm about as far north as you can get and still be technically inside of the Fort Worth city limits, so hopefully it'll make it up this way. I know Clear was big around here, and I used to get an "okay" WiMax signal on my Evo 3D at home, so I have hope!

Too bad about that
Maybe I can convince some people to switch.
Question: if a new account adds an existing account to its framily, can it add another existing account?
Let's say Robert signs up with Sprint again and adds AJ's existing account to his framily. Can he act as a hub on a wheel then add digiblur and others?
Anybody know the answer to this?

Hey mike, I noticed that on my stock N5 if I have no service for an extended period of time, 30 min or longer, when I return to an area with service the app doesn't recognize that I have service again. Just two dashes in the notification bar. And if I try to open the app it crashes. The only way to get it running again is by restarting my phone. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Hrm, interesting. How does employee discounts play into this or not at all?
It's applied to the data

I didn't realize they weren't adjacent. That said, I know it would be illegal for them to do under the current rules, but I did say "licensing permitting." Apparently it's not just licensing that restricts this.
It's still a good idea for FDD in a situation where it would be possible if you could get the FCC on board with it.

(Ok, so it's technically one word, but I had to throw in a plug when I saw the opportunity)
Say hello to the Framily (inexpensive but potentially confusing new Sprint group plan pricing)

I switched mine over the phone. Chat couldn't do it for me because they didn't know how to change my Nexus 5.
