That is a nice perk. Btw you can just use anyone's T-mobile number to get it. Nothing ever gets sent to the number. I have a few friends with T-Mobile so I just pick one of their numbers when I need to use it.

I'm pretty sure it only works for like an hour or so though? Or at least I remember there being some sort of time limit the last time I used it (or possibly I had two flights and it only works on one flight a day?)

At this moment I don't know a single person with a tmobile line.😪

  2. Yeah, sprint done lost their damn minds, their trade in deal is a joke. The trade in credit is spread out over 2 years and if you pay the phone off early  you lose whatever credit is remaining and of course they already have your trade in device. I'll probably never by a phone directly from sprint ever again, better off just dealing with Samsung directly. You get a higher trade in amount, you get an extra $50 for reserving, and your promo items get shipped with the phone and you still can chose if you want a sprint phone or unlocked. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Man you all suck! emoji23.png. Once upon a time I might have pulled 200-300 Mbps in the start of LTE now at my house (Coweta by interstate) I might get 50 Mbps and my work I have to have a magic box just to get 20 Mbps but even outside at my work (Southwest Dekalb near interstate) I don't get but 20-30 Mbps either when I used to get 200 Mbps in the beginning as did I near my house as well. Definitely got tower saturation in my area.

My buddies and I were at the gun range in newnan several months ago and the speeds were pretty good around that area.

Yeah it was within 100 yards of a tower clearly with massive mimo but still ..I never thought this was possible on 4G even with 3xCA.

Fastest I've ever pulled anywhere around atlanta was around 250 to 260 or so on my note 10+ , don't have a 5g sprint phone as yet.  My s20u is on at&t.  Pretty impressive though

The phone shipped with a new sim in the box. I didn't try to reuse my old one. Samsung already had it preloaded to my AT&T account, I just had to confirm the numbers matched and activate.

I got the unlocked one and just used the sim from my note 9.  Currently I'm not in a 5g market so I have no idea if I will connect to 5g or not.  I guess I'll hit up at&t later on today.

AT&T N260, not to shabby. I wonder if this is the faster test on an S20 series so far... I'll post more on this in the AT&T thread later. 5e9ff2a623b4dc40e9bd6ac27b77a1f9.jpg

    Impressive, where was this?

Got my 45watt charger today, it's freaking huge compared to the included 25watt one and the cable is much thicker I'm curious to try it out when I get home. My buds+ come Monday can't wait to see the improvements compared to the originals which I am giving to my nephew who I just got an S20 for. He was pissed about losing the headphone jack coming from his S9+ so I figured it was a fair compromise giving him my barely worn originals.

The 45w charger is where its at, especially if your battery is almost dead, it charges insanely fast.   Buds plus are great, sound quality when it comes to music sounds the same to me but huge improvements with phone calls.

Thx for the comparison, for me it could have simply been the fact that when I owned the S10 it was still in it's infancy (got rid of it months after purchase) and subsequent updates helped it's performance.

Needless to say, I've been super impressed with GS20U's FP consistently and performance. The only thing they could have done better is possibly made the FP area larger, aside from that, been pretty happy with it.

Yeah, its about finding the sweet spot and with the sensor being relatively small I would say the main issue is simply not getting it lined up right.

    Turn off AOD

Done, all three are exactly the same from what I can tell, which is basically an instant unlock( I can record and post later if you like, LOL). The only issue I can think of is finding the exact spot when the screen is totally off.  This was the reason why I started using the always on display so that it shows the correct spot when AOD is active.  When the screen is off, just being off by a little could cause a delay or it not work at all.  Even running my test just now, just by coincidence I had a slight issue with the note 10 and the s20 and had to do it a second time because I didn't quite had it lined up right while AOD is off.

  10. As I sit here at my desk I have an s10+, note 10+ and s20 ultra in front of me and I can't see any difference in how fast any of them unlocks using the fingerprint scanner.  All three are very responsive.  But also keep in mind that the performance of the fp sensor is directly related to the moisture level of your finger tip.  So that may be why we all get different performance results. If your fingertip is super dry, you'll have problems.

  11. Buds+ are a huge improvement over the original buds, for music both sound about the same to me which I would say is average but where you can tell the difference is phone call quality, the difference is like night and day. The OG buds picked up way too much background noise and overall voice quality wasn't that great.

I know this isn't the ultra, but 20X on the S20+ is pretty impressive (I know it's still fuzzy, but considering the distance, it's pretty clear). 30X is hard to control handheld. I can not imagine the 100X hand held on the Ultra.....

At 100x, you definitely need a tripod or at least rest your phone against something for stability. Quality is definitely not the best but it's actually really amazing to see how good this is on for a smartphone.

No my delivery got pushed to Monday. I went and bought another at bestbuy. This phone is too slippery not to have a case on it.
